Ullapool cottages

Cottage clean comfortable and well equipped. Located in a peaceful setting near fabulous beaches and wonderful scenery for great walks and water sports. We even managed to climb Mt Suilven and had a lovely coastal walk to Souer Lighthouse. The cottage is surrounded by farm animals including alpacas. emus, donkeys, teddy bear sheep and we loved watching their antics from the windows. Wish we could have stayed another week.

Paul was extremely helpful with communications. The property is lovely and is exactly what we needed for the evening. Certainly one to use if your route takes you this way.

House was fantastic, amazing landscape. Lovely birds, many sheep, beautiful sunsets at lighthouse and a a, ing views over mountains. We are dreaming of coming back

Lovely property in a wonderfully remote location. The cottage was warm and cosy and communication with Daisy was excellent. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and the views from the bench in the garden were outstanding.Highly recommended.

Fantastic situation which suited us and our 2 dogs perfectly. You need to be organised with food due to the nearest shop being over 30 miles away but that being said we found some fantastic eateries on our road trips around the area. The negatives are that the ceiling are very low the stairs awkward and narrow and the condition is basic. Take chairs with you so that you can enjoy the sun trap garden. Luckily we had really good weather (last week in Apri)

Lovely location as a base to explore the North West coast of the Highlands. Spacious house, good wood burner, good sized rooms, well equipped kitchen with all you'd expect. My only complaint would be a lack of some sundries, such as there were only a few toilet rolls between us 7 adults and 2 children - 2 out of the 3 bathrooms we used ran out of toilet paper. We also felt they were a bit stingy with laundry detergent - something which again we ran out of and had to buy our own. The other issue I had was check in time is after 5pm and the local shop shuts at 5.30pm on a Saturday which is a very short window and doesn't allow much time to buy essential provisions. So you need to plan ahead and make sure you bring some food items with you especially if you're travelling from afar.
