Holiday rentals near Benizelos Mansion

We had a very comfortable three night stay. Very impressive communication from the hosts before and during our stay. The apartment was perfect for us and the roof top views a real bonus. Location is excellent. Would highly recommend.

Great apartment in fantastic location with excellent hosts

We have just returned from a lovely 10 day holiday in Athens. It was our first trip to Athens and it was a great experience. It is a very vibrant, lively city with amazing historical monuments and museums. The food we had was delicious and the people were very friendly indeed. The apartment was perfect for us and we would love to use it again! It is spacious, very clean, and Spyros did everything he could to make us comfortable. The lounge is very attractive with lots of seating space and a big dining table. The kitchen is well equipped; the oven works well and there is even a kettle - very important for our English cups of tea!! The shower is very good and there were plenty of towels. The bedrooms are very comfortable and there are lots of coat hangers. There are long mirrors in each bedroom and a useful desk in the main bedroom. The Wi-Fi works well. The apartment is between Syntagma Square and Plaka, which is very characterful. There is some noise in the evenings from local bars and tavernas but this caused us no problems at all. Spyros respected our privacy but was always available on WhatsApp. He provided an excellent taxi transfer service to get us to and from the airport. Thank you Spyros! Happy Easter! Mark & Anne

Lovely house with easy walking access to all the main sights in Athens. It had everything we needed and is like walking into history. Situated just under the Acropolis, we saw tourists talking pictures of the road outside and even the front door. Anna is incredibly helpful & friendly; she answered all queries & helped us a great deal. Anna also booked airport transfers which were easy, friendly & helpful. Cafe Melina next door provided good food and atmosphere. We enjoyed shopping for leather goods with Fortis (excellent service) at Kion Leather, Chatzichristou 10, Athina 117 42. It is just behind the Acropolis museum. The Acropolis is museum is stunning and the food (full restaurant) at the Acropolis museum is amazing with incredible views of the acropolis. Finally, The Little Tree Cafe & Bookstore is lovely for a calm atmosphere with good food & wine until 12midnight; it is at Kavalloti 2, Athens 117 42 - again behind the Acropolis Museum. Finally, this is Athens and the house is in a tourist area - it can be noisy with some singing at night at the weekend when we stayed. It was not a problem - we took earplugs just in case. Just go and join in the Greek singing. This is a special place and well worth a visit. We would definitely come back; this house is lovely, Athens is wonderful and Anna is incredaibly helpful.
