Holiday rentals near Grottes de Dargilan

Our host gave us good instructions to reach property and met us outside - also there were marked signs guiding us to property (Libourel). The apartment was very clean and beds were adequate for our needs. The equipment was well provided to ensure a comfortable stay. The hot water supply was really good. Lovely views from our windows of fields and hills. A short walk from the property brings you to where you can see stunning views. There is a winding staircase to enter the apartment which may discourage those who are infirm. Recommended and a big thanks to our hosts.

We loved our stay in this beautiful place, where we were delighted every day to see wildflowers, including many orcihds, birds, including eagles and vultures, and the wide open green spaces of the Grands Causses and Cevenne. Monique was a welcoming and helpful host and I hope we can return one day - it was a magical holiday.

Wow what an amazing place. The property is even more stunning in real life! The owners were lovely and were there if we needed them but we were left to ourselves completely. Very private. Nothing will ever compare to the VIEW! Unbelievable to wake up to every day. The house has been so well thought out and designed. We will definitely be back!

This is an extraordinary place to stay. We spent two weeks at Domaine de Costeplane and all 14 of us had one of the best holidays we have ever had. It is difficult to summarise just how special a place this is. Yes the pool looks great in the pictures but when you’re there watching the sun set and the lights come on in St Veran below you it is breathtaking. The rooms are all big, clean and comfortable, and it’s easy to lose 14 people and find one of many quiet corners to read. What’s more impressive is the attention to detail. There’s always a terrace to sit that’s in the shade or sun (to your preference) any time of the day. Floodlit pétanque court with natural daytime shade was well used day and night. Automated fly spray dispensers, covered table tennis, heated pool, barbecues, the list of treats goes on. Daniel, who maintains the property, was efficient, pleasant and a joy to chat with; Lionel an attentive host. There is so much to do in the local area, especially if you like mountain biking, road biking, walking, climbing, scrambling, running and caving. Beautiful villages are blessed with the friendliest of people and eating out was a joy. In 2 weeks we barely scratched the surface of the incredible Causse landscape. It is inconceivable we will not be back here again.

I would highly recommend this property. Stunning position with fabulous views, south facing so lots of sun. The house itself has every luxury you could need but our favourite part was the outside BBQ area and heated swimming pool. Complete privacy, Michel our host was a great help when we arrived. The best holiday rental we have ever had.
