very clean and functional property, lovely large terrace with great views over harbour. Felt very private. Sliding doors to terrace from kitchen-diner and bedroom were a real plus. Lovely plants to the entrance. We found it a bit of a haul up from car park to property with a suitcase. Bus every half hour during the day from the bottom of the road could be visited using public transport though no local shops. Don't forget your sheets and towels!

A very comfortable and elegant place to stay within walking distance of central Aix. The garden was a delight and the tortoises very well behaved!

Fabulous house. Having the old town on our doorstep was so good, and no car required as everything was walkable. Supermarket virtually next door also brilliant. We had a really great time. loved having the pool too.

The property is a very nice modern design, we enjoyed our time staying here!

We would thoroughly recommend a stay here. The apartment was perfect for us. Lots of space for two people and very well equipped. The highlight was the outside space. In addition to the garden there was a terrace with seating and a covered area for outside dining so we spent a lot of time relaxing there. It’s more than a 15 minute walk into the centre of town but the local bus service was very good and there is a stop less than 5 minutes from the apartment (see La Metropole Mobilité app). Finally, Jean Jacques was the perfect host. We will be back!

This little house is as described, clean, comfortable and very well equipped, Edith and Jean the owners were there to greet me and explain everything and when a heavy thunderstorm took the internet out they were quite prepared to come and fix it, thankfully it righted itself and there was no need. I have rated the area as a 4/5 simply because as others have stated it is little industrial and not as pretty as some other quintessential French villages, however don’t let this put you off, you are close enough to Marseille to enjoy it, but far enough away to ignore it, there is plentiful transport links if your prepared to walk a short way and the local shops are enough to fill your cupboards stocked. I would heartily recommend this property and would have no qualms in returning if I want to return to this area again. Outstanding family home for holiday rental. Friendly, helpful owners. Quiet location, but close enough to village and city if required. Plenty to do in the area.
