Wonderful house and gardens. It had everything you could want. Pool with outside shower, gorgeous covered terrace for outside dining and private parking for cars behind high electronic gates. Great kitchen and lots of storage in the bedrooms. Minutes walk to resort centre with lots of restaurants and bars.Owner really helpful and left us champagne to enjoy on our first night. It was so beautiful I didn’t want to come home. Will definitely be back next year.

Had a great time in St Gilles Croix de Vie. The flat is exactly as described and the hosts are lovely (friendly, helpful and quick to respond).

The property is well fitted out and has everything one needs for a trouble free and relaxing holiday. I surrounded by farms and hence is peaceful and very quiet at night. Getting bread for breakfast did involve using my car to cover the 2 miles or so to the village. Jard sur Mar is only about 10 miles away and is a lovely seaside town with a fine harbour and is well worth a visit, as are the other towns and villages in the region. I will definitely consider returning in the future.

A perfect location for beach lovers. Just steps away from the beautiful ocean and surf, lots of wonderful restaurants to choose from and a short walk from the old town and port. A wonderful holiday home with very comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi and all utensils needed in the kitchen. A lovely sunny courtyard garden with outdoor stores for wetsuits and surfboards. Useful to have private parking too. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Thank you to Marylene.

We stayed at this holiday apartment with our two young children form one week. The accommodation was very clean, well maintained and equipped with everything we needed. There is a large balcony overlooking the pool area. The pool itself was perfect for us with a relatively large main pool and connected paddling pool. The water was warm and kept very clean. The residence is a four-storey apartment block with a reception area featuring pool table. The building is on one side on the pool with a steep bank with pine trees on the other side so is quite a picturesque setting. Most of the apartments are let out by the owners of the building but this apartment is privately owned. The owner was very helpful and friendly in her communications prior to our arrival. She also employed a third-party concierge/housekeeping service for check in and check out who was also professional. The concierge was able to provide bed linen and towels (not included) and cleaning on departure (not included). The town of Les Sables-d’Olonne is a wonderful seaside town. The are a large number of restaurants and bars, especially along the seafront and quayside. It has retained an authentic charm that is lacking from some more built-up resorts. There are two beaches in the town. The nearest to the apartment is within walking distance and is the quieter of the two but both are very nice beaches to spend half a day at.

Lovely little property in basement of owners house. Very new and perfectly equipped and easily enough space for a couple on their own or with small child. Access to a large mature garden with good dining and lounging furniture. Jean Pierre and Joelle are perfect hosts, so helpful and entertaining, but not at all intrusive just the right amount of contact when needed especially when recommending places to visit/eat. Beach and bars are all very close by especially given the bicycles supplied. Les Sables provides all the facilities expected of a large seaside resort. Highly recommended!
