Holiday rentals near Ravdouha Beach

The villa itself is beautiful, probably one of the best we have stayed in. It was well equipped with good quality items and everything you could need during your stay. It was cleaned thoroughly twice a week with bathroom towels, beach towels and bedding changed on each occasion making it feel more like a hotel than a self catering Villa. Some basic food & cleaning items were also provided. The location is perfect, extremely quiet with sea views and 3 restaurants within easy walking distance even for my 80 year old parents. Fresh veg and bread (especially loved the sugared doughnuts!) were available daily from sellers who stopped right outside the villa gate. Plenty of other restaurants within 20 minutes drive. The local beach, which is opposite the villa was good for my husband & I but my elderly parents couldn't get in the water due to the stony beach which was such a shame as once you get about 6ft into the water it is beautiful soft sand.Ria was a perfect host, very informative in the lead up to the holiday and when we arrived she was attentive and a friendly face whenever we needed her but was never overbearing. She is understandably very proud of the Villa and Crete and was happy to share useful recommendations of places to visit. We had 2 very minor issues during the holiday and both were resolved extremely quickly and did not affect our stay at all. we had a fantastic holiday and would happily return to the villa if we get the chance. Beautiful and well equipped villa. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Friendly hosts. Lovely pool, well maintained and clean. There is absolutely nothing to fault ! 10/10.

the property is large and has great facilities. perfect for a couple , i really loved this place and can't complain as its great value for money and well worth the drive from the coast. Vrbo mistrakenly placed the property drop pin in the town of Kolymbari but was infact 15 minutes in land from the location they stated, this really inconvenienced us as we had family staying in the town and needed to be nearby , this was Vrbo's fault , not the property owner and will be making a complaint to them . the Property owner was pleasant to deal with and helpful and my only complaint would be that i had to contact someone else to get the key to the property but was not getting messages / calls back on whatsapp so felt a bit stranded at 1am with no key to the place, would have been easier if they had a security box and provide me a code to get the key myself as its not a good system to rely on neighbour/ friends to meet up on arrival . apart from that every thing was very good. i would actually stay again since its such a lovely accommodation and amazing location in the hills.

This has got to be the loveliest property we have ever rented. Fabulous host so helpful and friendly the nicest lady you could meet. The finish and cleanliness of this property is first class. There is everything available you ever need. Beautiful beds,lovely comfy bed, good quality linen and towels. The location is lovely right on the sea down a few steps straight in the water. Very private. Two outside tables and good quality furniture and sun loungers. There are so many beautiful qualities about this property i cant list them all. This property is so worth what the host charges its lovely. We will return one day.

We have just returned from a wonderful two week stay in Villa Liakada, Drapanias, a sleepy resort ideal for relaxing. Eleni and her husband were perfect hosts and provided a welcome pack on arrival which was much appreciated and also gave us gifts when we left. Eleni kindly picked us up and returned us to the pick up points for the coach travel back to the airport.The villa is beautifully presented and is perfectly located with the sea just 30 feet or so away. The pool area is superb and very relaxing. There are 3 tavernas within walking distance and also a small mini market. Kissamos is a charming little town with lovely restaurants on the sea front and is approx 5 kms away and easily reached by taxi for 10 Euros. We would certainly recommend a stay in Villa Liakada.

Harmony villas are two modern, well equipped villas, situated on a private cove. The grounds are well kept with good quality sun beds and shading provided. The villas have external shaded areas equipped with both hard and lounge furnishings. A BBQ big enough to spit roast a carcass is built into the surrounding wall. There is lots of room for car parking. Those who wish to Scuba dive or fish off of the rocks will be well satisfied as the cove is deep enough to require a competent swimmer to reach the sea bed with lots of rocks for the large number of varieties of fish to congregate. The water is normally crystal clear, and a paradise for those involved in water activities. In short nothing more Is required to make this a holiday to remember. For those wishing. to venture out, the local taxi service is excellent and very reasonable, a single journey to Kissamoss is 8 Euro plus tip for 4 passengers. The quality of the local restaurants is very high and the cost good value, we ate out most nights. For those inclined to walk, a sea food restaurant is situated in the harbour about 400m from the villas, where there is also a bar and motor boats can be hired. Kissamos centre is about 3/4Km from the villa depending on your destination, along the main road. We often walked there for breakfast, but used the taxis for evening visits. In summary, a superb property, with the very willing VRBO in the background should you need help, we had a great time!

Everything you could need was available - even a gift of home cooked food....it is a spacious, well-equipped apartment with great outdoor space. The lovely host is available to answer any questions and give tips about the area. Fabulous local restaurants 15 minutes walk away and it is a great base from where to explore western Crete. Highly recommend.
