Beautiful house with amazing views

A really great holiday that we will all remember. Super friendly owner, really helpful advice. West Iceland is mind blowing. Wild, remote and breathtaking. Every view from the house was beautiful. We were blessed with orcas in the bay and midnight sun. Such special memories. House is immaculate and has everything for a great stay. Thank you for letting us share such a wonderful spot.

Stunning location

This is a fabulous house in an amazing location. The house is well equipped and more spacious than it looks, and it has great views on all our sides. It is a set in a very small village close to the coast, and there is also a lovely cafe within 5 mins walk. It is well placed to visit all the attractions in the area. Our host was very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Nice, comfortable base in Hellnar

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The house is cute, well-appointee and conveniently located for all of the wonderful sights and experiences on Snæfellsness Peninsula.

Fantastic cottage, beautiful location

We had a great stay here. The cottage is very cosy and equipped with everything you need. From the door are beautiful walks along the coast to Arnastapi, or the national park is only a couple of minutes away. Gestur and Berglind were very helpful before we arrived and explained everything we needed to know. I would definitely recommend coming here!

Fabulous location

Very clean and tidy with comfortable beds. Quiet location, warm and homely would definitely stay there again. My only gripe would be that we had to strip our own beds and take our rubbish with us despite paying for cleaning. We couldn't find the bin mentioned in the house rules and ended up taking our rubbish all the way back to Reykjavik. Clearer instructions please.
