We loved the house it was perfect quiet house and fabulous in side so cosy everything was perfect and the owner should be so proud myself and husband and kids had a blast we so fell in love with the house

We wanted to relax and this cottage was perfect. The beach is 30 seconds walk, the view is breathtaking. We relaxed, played games, read, talked around the open fire, swam, walked and just chilled. No tv, no screens (although there is Wi-Fi), we detached from the phones and iPads and let our brains breathe. Will be booking again for next year or maybe even during winter. Tony and John were so helpful yet respectful of our privacy. Can not fault the cottage or the area. Loved every minute.

The property is beautifully designed. There is great attention to detail. It is also well equipped, homely and comfortable. We loved returning there after a day out. It was very special sitting on the balcony with the binoculars taking in the beautiful views. Thank you Charlotte for a wonderful stay!

8 adults in our group who all enjoyed staying at Hilltown. Very clean and tidy, spacious with large dinning space, nice sittingroom and very comfortable double/king sized beds. Ideal for families with children who can sleep in the room with 2 bunkbeds though that was a bit more challenging for our older group of adults getting up to the top bunks! Jennifer was very helpful on arrival and was nearby and contactable for any issues. We would all recommend Hilltown as a great base for exploring County Donegal and Donegal town has good eating and is not far away. Only thing to note for future visitors is that 3 of the bedrooms dont have curtains or blinds so any light sleepers may wish to bring sleeping masks, particularly in the height of summer. We had a wonderful weekend staying in this property for a family birthday celebration with three generations. The house was amazing and had absolutely everything you needed, the views were spectacular. Marcella was very helpful and available to answer any query we had. Would highly recommend this accommodation.

1st time staying in Donegal, visited with husband and 2 labradors. Whilst the road network took us by surprise, at the end of each of those little lanes was a fabulous view or beach or mountain range. Dooey beach has to be one of the best beaches in the world, the entrance to it a fun little challenge, with miles of golden sand and dunes and spectacular views, and what magnificent sunsets, wow! The cottage is perfect location to explore. Everything was as per the listing. Besides the beaches we also took a trip to Glenveagh National Park and Castle, well worth the trip, more stunning landscapes and mountains. Thanks for letting us stay, think we'll all sleep for a week now!
