Holiday rentals near Reggio Calabria Cathedral

Terrazza Sullo Stretto is everything it promises. What was most important for me apart from that was its easy location with regard to Messina (just take No 1 bus across the road, every 10-15 mins) while this is clearly just a local area that is quiet and beautiful when you make a little effort to get away from the main through road--and even this can be done on foot. Host Francesca is super helpful and friendly. I stayed here for one month for work purposes and felt I was in paradise.

Amazing place and Giovanna is the owner very good she always available for any requests. House is clean and comfortable every one enjoyed, beautiful beach very clean, only the Calamona street is very small lane need to be very care full and I already damaged my rented car ( little creased) because the both side of the lane is too narrow and tite. Most suitable is small car not big vehicle because the house is on the above the hill. First few days we tried to keep on Air condition but it is not enough to cooling bed rooms due to its in the corridor and not connecting to bed rooms directly. We asked a fan and facilitated a new one.I advised to anyone to take some mosquitoes cram because during the evening few hours there are very poisonous mosquitoes I still feel itchy even after 10 days old mosquitoes bitten. In all overall it is a very good property to go on family vacation.I would go again if possible. Thanks for Giovanna for her hospitality. Beautiful land with many plantations with , olive, lemon, orange, mango, and fationfruits she offer us and we enjoyed making fresh drinks it’s delicious.

Had a brilliant week in this lovely apartment. 2 nice bedrooms, good size bathroom with shower and lovely lounge/ kitchen area with fantastic balcony with shade if needed. Well equipped for self catering. Overlooking pretty garden and pebble / sandy beach which we had virtually to ourselves. Host couldnt have been more helpful with great coms throughout for tips on sightseeing and restaurants. The Sea is crystal clear and excellent swimming. Good Italian restaurant five minutes walk along the front and handy supermarket in town. Railway station just round the corner. We downloaded the Tranitalia app for easy ticket booking and explored the coast by train from Tropea to Roccella Jonica, and even over to Messina. Short car trips into the hills for the not to be missed old villages. The south coast is rural/rustic and unspoilt by mass tourism. Highly recommended.
