Holiday rentals near Maretsch Castle

We stayed at the Laugen Lodge with Thomas for a week in September, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The all-wooden Lodge is super comfortable, and is located in a large garden with private sauna and natural pool. Thomas was extremely welcoming, and caring. He even gave us some polenta from his own grown corn, milled by himself, with a sumptuous polenta recipe. Wholeheartedly recommended!

This is a clean, well-equipped and spacious property with magnificent views over Val Gardena. The hosts are friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended as one of the best self-catering apartments we have stayed in. Many thanks to Karin and Thomas for making our stay so pleasant.

Wonderfully appointed apartment in the centre of the lovely and charming wine village of St Pauls. Great area for walking, cycling and general sightseeing. Local farmers ferrying their grapes to the local Coop and landlords / Schwarzer family run a fantastic wine and delicatessen shop behind the church. On easy accessible hosts who made our stay a memorable event - thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Fabio's apartment. We were made to feel very welcome, the canopes on arrival where a lovely touch. The apartment was quiet and out of the main resort (perfect for us) but just a few minutes drive to the local ski lift (with free parking) and 20 mins from several other ski resorts, it is a great base to explore the surronding area. The apartment has a really well equipped kitchen with a washing machine and dishwasher, a good size dining table and a comfortable sofa. The views from the apartment were nothing short of spectacular and you can walk out of the front door and straight onto a marked walking track (great for us as we were travelling with our dog). We had a very comfortable 2 week stay and would highly recommend the apartment.

As all the previous visitors have all stated, Danielle is the perfect host from confirming accommodation availability, to making every effort for you to enjoy your stay. He even took the time to offer suggestions of place we could visit after taking time to get to know us when meeting us on arrival. It is clear he truly wants you to enjoy your stay. The apartment is clean, with good quality products throughout, and the little balcony is wonderful place to sit out on at any time of day. We spent our eights days cycling in and around the area, and we would certainly recommend a visit. Locandia Alpina restaurant situated at the bottom of the road is a must place to visit. The food is amazing, and the owner a true gentleman. On the evening we visited the restaurant was quiet, therefore he was able to spend some time with us explaining the history of the village, why they grow apples, and the history of the restaurant. A real treat.
