Holiday rentals near Palazzo Comunale

Excellent property sleeping six in the centre of Cortona. This is a lovely spotlessly clean and well equipped property in an excellent location in the town centre that met all our needs. We arrived by train and were met from the shuttle and taken to the property and all communications with the host were excellent. We came for a wedding at the town hall which was within walking distance. Guests need to be aware that the property has very little natural light which is probably a big bonus when the weather is very hot and the house stays cool. Also, there is no outside sitting space other than a courtyard surrounded by four high walls.

Beautiful apartment right in the centre of cortona. Lots of churches, museum and restaurants close by with interesting architecture and good food. Shops selling local linen, leather items and Italian cashmere. Wonderful place to experience Italian culture and cuisine

Beautiful!! The apartment is so comfortable, and very well provided with everything you could wish for during your stay. It's only a two minute walk from the local general store (Molesini's) which sells everything you might need, and also a fruit/vegetable shop and a butchers around the corner. Margherita is an amazing host, who helped us with our arrival by booking a taxi for us from the station, and another when we had to get our onward train to Naples. She was there to welcome us when we arrived at the apartment, she kindly helped us with our (very heavy!!) luggage, and was unobtrusive yet easily-contactable during our whole stay. She offered to help us with restaurant bookings, and she helped us to find a wonderful vineyard tour (Baracchi vineyard; can highly recommend!). The views from every window of the apartment are stunning. I couldn't tear myself away from the windows or balconies! The beds were the comfiest we've slept in while in Italy (possibly ever, actually!) and there were plenty of fresh towels and bedlinen for all of us. I am a single mother traveling with two young children (one with disabilities) and a lot of luggage, and Margherita made our arrival, stay and departure seamless and easy. We LOVED our time in Cortona. Thank you for everything Margherita!

The appatment is right in the centre of things and there was so much going on in June live music nearly every night. The owners are so very helpful and Cortona is fantastic. Even tho it was hot outside the appartment was cool and not to hot to sleep.
