Lovely host family- genuine, generous. Great communication and easy procedure. Central wine-country location. We spent a month in Italy staying in many VRBO s and by far this was the best experience. Would definitely return and recommend.

If I could give this a rating higher than 5 stars I would! Communication was well done, Lorella met us at the house when we got there and showed us everything and how it worked. The lovely treats left for us were special - Anna Maria's bruschetta, Vin Santo and cantucci, wine from their vineyard, fruit. The accommodation is charming and met all our needs. It simply exceeded all our expectations.We also were very happy with the location. Fratticciola is a small and quite little hamlet, yet Cortona is only a few minutes away. Most of the hilltop towns we wanted to visit were less than an hour away. Between location, the beautiful accommodation and lovely hosts this VRBO is a standout for us!

This unit is amazing! The owner was waiting by the roadside with her umbrella when we arrived and communicated well with us before, during and after our stay. The unit is nicely apppointed and has many unique and charming features. The owner’s mother lives close by and we chatted with her a few times (she in Italian and us in English but we managed) while coming or going and she is absolutely lovely too! We loved staying here amd would definitely stay there again!

Anna Maria and family are very welcoming and extremely accommodating. Location is so very convenient for so many fabulous medieval towns. This villa is in a small farming community and if you enjoy being off the beaten path this is for you!

Beautiful countryside property!

This place was great to stay in! The hosts were very kind and also very helpful. The place was central to the train station and Cortona which was very nice! Would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at Casina del Bibo was lovely. Nestled in the countryside near Cortona, this peaceful haven captures the essence of Tuscany. We were greeted warmly and made to feel like family by the hosts and provided with unexpected gifts of delicious food, wine and dessert. The home and surrounding grounds were beautifully cared for, clean and full of charm. We highly recommend this property and would return when exploring Tuscany again.

A true Tuscan experience and gorgeous home that felt perfect for our short stay. The beds were comfortable, the fireplace and amenities were great. The little village was perfect too, with a convenience store 100m away. The heating didn't work our first night, but one call to Lorella and it was fixed quickly and kept us toasty warm. There were some lovely goodies left for us on arrival by Anna-Maria and we loved the ducks at the back. A truly charming house and location. Our hosts were amazing. Highly recommend.

Cortona stay

Our hostess was great accessible if needed. The cottage was wonderful, totally clean and well stocked with some food, wine and coffee. We would definitely stay again. A number of restaurants and grocery stores within 15 minute drive

Lorella met us at the place. She had wine fruit bruschetta and a homemade dish that was outstanding. I wish I had the recipe. We were in several VRBO’s in Italy and this was so relaxing. Went to Cotona and other small towns and loved it. Mini mart was so convenient 700 meters away

I want to move to Tuscany!

It was idyllic, beautiful, clean, we loved the beautiful house and flowers& the fresh apricots and home made wine!! We would come back anytime we could.

Quite stay in Fratticciola

The owner was very nice and provided us with welcoming snacks and wine. The atmosphere is very relaxing.Apart from some quite ducks in the backyard of the neighbour or an occasional barking from a dog you hear almost nothing.Very good spot to explore Cortona, Montepulciano or Pienza and have a quite refuge afterwards.We liked it a lot!

Home was well appointed. We were greeted by Nona and her grandson who speaks english with a plate full of tuscan treats, Nonas home made wine, olive oil and almond biscotti. We did not lack for anything. Everyone was helpful and friendly and quick to respond. Good directions easy to locate. Ideal fro large families as property 2 single dwelling along with 2 separate apartments in the original stone home. We will be going back with our family..
