Perfect rental location for our stay in Venice. Centrally located, and beautiful accommodations. Comfortable bed. Helpful staff that was accessible throughout our visit and helped coordinate private transfers for us.

We had an amazing stay in the apartment in Castello! The pictures don’t do it justice, everything was very high spec and furnished to a high standard. The kitchen had everything you could possibly want and the bathroom was perfect. The district of Castello is a very good location as it was very peaceful and quiet, away from all the tourist crowds of San Marco but close enough to walk anywhere. Riccardo’s friendly father met us at Arsenale boat station and took us to the apartment. We even had a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the fridge and some delicious biscotti! When we return to Venice we would definitely stay in the Castello apartment again. Thank you for a very welcoming and happy stay!

I had the most lovely stay here. Sebastino is absolutely wonderful. A true Venetian local. He showed me where he went to Elementary School down the canal! This apartment was perfect for my artist getaway. It was March and I had lots of rainy mornings but it was so perfect to sit in front of the window and sip my coffee and paint the canal and bridges and passersby. The bed was really comfortable and shower hot with good pressure. It was in a wonderful location by the train station and Vaparetto stops and has some great local eats close by. I love this sweet apartment with an amazing view and hope to be back when I visit Venice again.

The apartment is nothing short of wonderful. I stayed for 2 weeks celebrating a big birthday and visiting the Biennale and the Redentore. It’s full of light with unparalleled views across to the mainland and along the Fondamenta Euphemia. Perfect for people watching and for seeing Venice at work in the early mornings. It’s so easy to get into all the hubbub at San Marco, and then to retreat to the relative calm and tranquility of Giudecca. Getting to the train and bus stations is very easy if you want to visit other places. We went to Verona for the opera for example. Karen was super helpful in every way as was Barbara the wonderful manager who couldn’t have been kinder. Shopping is super easy too with fresh fish, bakeries, fruit and veg as well as 2 supermarkets on the doorstep. Lots of lovely bars and restaurants right outside. Any noise is completely shut out (if you want to) by the windows and shutters. We had an absolutely fabulous time. Thankyou to Karen and Barbara.Highly recommended!

Owner - truly wonderful !! Location - perfect - less than five mins from two ferry taxi stops and location for walks to any of the regions could not be better Facilities - as described and nothing missing that we would need. Deli next door is amazing and when we had a heavy lunch (needed the carbs doing 10 miles a day!!) we had cold meats, cheese and bread in the evening sat on the balcony. Tips - buy the max stay for the ferry taxi you can - it is surprising how often you will use them (we had ACTV) and hopping over to Murano and Burano is a must. - eat away from the main squares (though the next door San Samuel square is fine) - cost in these areas is high and better quality food on the outskirts - if visiting the islands go early but don't expect anything more than coffee and pastries for breakfast when you arrive - the private water taxi in and out from the airport is a real must so budget it as part of your trip - it adds to the experience - if buying glass check the glass makers website first for two reasons - one, the shops will match the prices and two, most of the glass makers offer free shipping and free insurance - forget the maps or phones for getting about - head in the general direction and go - you accidentally find the most beautiful streets and bars - fri to mon is manic whereas tue to thu is still busy but noticeably calmer - the sun is ridiculously strong when it comes out - bring sunscreen and a hat no matter the month you travel

Stayed for five nights and we couldn't have picked a better location to view Venice. We were able to walk to all the key sights. Apartment was perfect for the two of us, comfortable and had everything we needed. Would book again.

There would be so much to say about Venice and our stay, but I will keep it as short and sweet as possible. The apartment is located about 25minutes walk from the train station, but a much shorter walk from the Alilaguna boat bus (about 5 minutes). Venice is fully walkable and stunning. We’ve had a 3 nights stay in Giovanni’s beautiful apartment, where we had everything we needed. We spent one day in Verona, which is so beautiful, as well. We visited the landmarks, of which the Arena was the most impressive to us. We got there from Venice Santa Lucia train station and paid €65 return trip for 4 people. We stopped at Verona Porto Nuevo station. Everything in Italy seems laid back and simple, from travel to dinning. Venice is definitely expensive from all points of view, but if you’re ready to walk around, without getting lost through the narrow, winding alleys, then you can definitely find places to eat and drink well, at very reasonable prices. Regarding the apartment, everything was smooth from start to finish. Giovanni has been very helpful and answered any questions we have had promptly. The apartment is equipped with everything a couple or small family may need for a few days. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is modern. From the apartment to Piazza San Marco is about 15 minutes walk. The church in San Marco is jaw dropping. The Palace of the Doge’s was left out, as we found it expensive at €30 per person. Venice is a true gem. It must be explored fully.

Beautiful, clean, spacious apartment in quiet, area. Great restaurants nearby. We loved the patio by the water and the gondolas passing the windows! Our greeter was lovely and very helpful.
