We had a wonderful stay in this exceptional apartment. The location is an easy walk from the train station and the neighborhood is one that is not overrun by tourists, yet is convenient to all of the tourist hotspots via vaporetto or foot. The host is warm and responsive. The apartment itself is bright and sunny, has a full kitchen with all of the amenities, a fabulous view, comfortable bed and large bathroom. What more could you ask for on a trip to magical Venice?!

We had a wonderful time staying in Sebastiano's lovely Venice apartment for 5 days. It was very conveniently located near the Piazzale Roma but still in a nice part of town. Sebastiano took time with us at check-in giving us a map and very helpful suggestions for dining, shopping etc. The apartment itself was very comfortable, well appointed and had a beautiful 2nd floor view down a canal next to a bridge. I would 100% recommend his place to any visitors!!

Sebastiano was proactive and very helpful. The check in and checkout process was easy. He provided maps for the area and restaurant suggestions. The location was unbeatable. It was very convenient with quick access to Piazza Roma, and amazing local restaurants a few minutes from the apartment.

The apartment was clean and beautiful, it felt like our home away from home. The bed and couch were super comfortable, that I came home and was disappointed in my own bed. Sebastian met us early, after a long overseas flight, and allowed us to check in a few hours sooner. He also gave us the rundown on everything, and made suggestions on places to walk. The view was perfect, I woke up every morning to watch the sunrise. Also, the location was perfect, because it's near the bus station. So we didn't have to carry luggage all across Venice. It was only a 2-3 minute walk from where we were dropped off. Me and my wife agree, this was our best vacation ever.

Host was great! Gave us several good tips of what to do in Venice. Nice clean apartment. Several nice restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Enjoyed our 4 day stay very much. Look forward to visiting Venice in the future. AC worked well. Kitchen had a nice assortment of dishes and utensils.

Fantastic apartment, great location, and has everything we needed for 3 day visit to Venice. Sebastiano was a great host, we couldn’t ask for anything more. The view out the apartment window is amazing and looks directly over the canal.

Seriously, the property is even nicer than the ad! Spacious, well appointed, marble floors and everything you need to thrive. The location and view are fantastic. Close to train, bus, water taxi, and everything in the Accademia quadrant. Sebastiano was a consummate host, met us at check in, gave us great local tips and helped us in a jam. You wont regret staying here!

Great apartment with views of the canal from your window. Very comfortable and clean with a large kitchen and dining area, large bedroom and bathroom as well. Sebastiano met us upon arrival and took us up to the apartment, explained everything and then took the time to show us places to visit and eat on a map. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We spent four days in Venice, staying at Sebastiano’s VRBO. Sebastiano communicated with us very clearly prior to our check-in, giving us great advice on how to get to his location. He met us at the apartment and answered all of our questions about Venice, what to do, what not to do, and must do. This included restaurants to eat at, and things to be aware of. His hospitality was fantastic. We wish we could’ve stayed longer. The pictures in the VRBO ad are what you get when you arrive at the apartment.

Beautiful Gaffaro Apartment in Dorsoduro with Canal View is the perfect short term rental. Great location, quite, safe, clean, comfortable, reasonable distance to the train and water bus. Sebastiano is an awesome host that took the time to answer all our questions about where to eat, shop and how to navigate the water bus. We definitely would stay here again.

Sebastiano was a very welcoming, responsive, and helpful host. We loved opening the windows every day and looking onto the canals. The location is quieter than the hustle and bustle of the Grand Canal and we enjoyed it more. We felt safe and we enjoyed coming back to it each day. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
