Holiday rentals near Kawagoe History Museum

The property is in a really nice area with easy access to stations. It is up a bit of a hill so be aware if you have those with reduced mobility. The house was clean with lots of amenities. Good contact from the host, who was friendly and messaged regularly. The only slightly weird thing was there was a decibel alarm in the living room, which honestly felt a bit big brother and intrusive, but I guess they have had bad experiences in the past with people not being respectful of the neighbours and making excessive noise. It’s not a deal breaker and won’t be a problem if you aren’t making lots of noise and just generally being respectful human beings, but we have two small kids including a baby which meant it did go off when they cried, which wasn’t very helpful in all honesty. It wouldn’t stop me staying again, but it would have been nice to know it would be there and explain why so we could be prepared for it. Other than that it’s a great property in a great location, clean and with everything you need, I would recommend.

Nice and so convenient!

A comfortable and inviting house in a quiet neighbourhood, we really enjoyed our stay in this property. Clean, relaxing and conveniently near Asagaya and Saginomiya stations. It’s a cosy atmosphere in the rooms and the host is often on-site and very helpful and friendly. Would recommend for an authentic neighbourhood experience in Western Tokyo.
