Holiday rentals near National Museum of Costume and Fashion

With the farm area surrounded by a big wall and gate, the property feels quiet and secure. The "farm" itself is not a busy working area and you are unaware of anything going on. The owners met us when we arrived and took the opportunities to check everything was alright when our paths crossed but otherwise we didn't see them. The swimming pool was a massive 12m x 6m, spotless and cleaned and treated regularly and was very welcome at 40C. Things to be aware of are that the villa does not have air conditioning but it does have shutters all around to keep the sun out. Additionally the WiFi was slow and there was no TV - totally welcome and not a problem in our case but it might impact some people.

Stayed with 5 other females for a 4 night break. Not only was the villa equipped with everything you could possible need, it was spotlessly clean and spacious with lots of seating areas inside and around the pool. There was plenty of space to spread out and take a few minutes to yourself away from the others if and when any of needed to. All the beds were super comfy. The villa owner really did think of everything, from displaying interesting items and artwork to admire, through to ironing boards, coffee machine etc. the villa is well located, 15 minute walk to the beach, supermarket and restaurants. We loved House of Wonders for brunch and dinner. They served the best sangria we tasted throughout our stay. We spent a day in Lisbon and a day in Sintra, both were easy to travel to. We chose Uber as it worked out easiest and most economical since 6 of us were sharing the costs. We al enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning. This villa has clearly been designed with your comfort in mind. The sun shines on the pool and loungers all day, while a gentle sea breeze keeps things perfectly balanced. The hammocks are perfectly sheltered from the breeze—ideal for a peaceful read or afternoon nap. Paying a little extra to heat the pool was well worth it—it took the edge off the chill and made it perfect for long, relaxing swims or pool play. If you enjoy cooking, you’ll love the fresh local produce available at nearby shops (a short drive away). The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with everything you need. And if cooking’s not on the cards, there are plenty of restaurants within easy reach. Be sure to visit the local bakery—the bread is fresh and the tarts are unforgettable.The beach is just a short walk down a hilly, stony path where you can watch the sun set over the Atlantic. There are also great walking trails and cycling routes nearby if you’re feeling adventurous.We’ll definitely be back. Our kids had a brilliant time, and a huge thank you to Tania for being such a kind and responsive host.

Perfect for a couple, perfect location to explore Lisbon, comfortable bed and surprisingly quiet at night with the windows shut and well equipped with everything we could of wanted,we would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay here and a fantastic holiday. Ralph made the whole process very smooth and gave great recommendations for the local area. The villa was perfect for us- clean, well equipped and close to beaches, shops and restaurants. We loved it and hope to return!

The photos don’t quite do it justice although they give a fairly good feel of what to expect. Very spacious and well equipped, super comfortable, and perfect for our family (7 adults and a baby). The pool was great as it has a shallow area along the whole length, and there was just so much outside space for everyone to relax and enjoy the break. Sofia was a wonderful host, very responsive, and Ketan the house manager was also great to deal with. Some beach towels and soap that were missing on arrival were very quickly brought to us by Sofia. The bbq area was great and the views of the ocean were just magnificent.

We had an amazing stay here. The apartment has everything you need and is lovely and spacious. Perfect for two people. It is in an amazing location too, close to supermarket and all the sights! Filipa was an excellent host, she gave us some great recommendations of things to do and the communication was great. Thank you so much! We would 100% recommend!
