Holiday rentals near Antigua Municipal Pool

This is a large one bedroomed apartment looking out onto the first lagoon beach in El Cotillo. This is a sunny and prime location, absolute beachfront, but with easy walking distance to the centre and harbour with numerous restaurants, bars, cafes etc., unfortunately there is now a lot of building work going on in this once small and pretty fishing village, but hey, they say that is progress. Whether for the best remains to be seen! However, ongoing works did not unduly disturb us in this beach location with fantastic views up the coastal lagoons and of course, the setting sun. A great location which we can thoroughly recommend to others. Thanks to the owners and the local contact for a truly wonderful holiday.

Wonderful property and owners. Cannot rate this place high enough. High spec property with such stunnning views. Everything you need for a home from hime stay. Will definitely be returning if the lively owners allow.

Villa Luna is tastefully furnished and has an excellent layout. The Villa was very clean, well decorated and the beds were very comfortable. A bathroom for every bedroom is a plus (we had a friend join us for one of our weeks so that was especially nice for her to have the en suite). The showers were great. There were plenty of towels, including pool / beach towels. Everything we needed was there.The kitchen was extremely well equipped with very good appliances including a large fridge/freezer and an excellent washing machine. It was nice to have a basket in the kitchen with condiments and spices available. Also under the sink there were bin bags, washing powder, cleaning fluids. We especially enjoyed the sun beds on the upper balcony catching the late afternoon sun. The outdoor pool patio was large and the pool was just the right temperature. Plenty of comfortable sunbeds and seating outside. We found the neighbourhood to be very quiet. The pool area can be overlooked from neighbouring properties but not really an issue as there didn't seem to be many people staying in the neighbouring Villas plus the fact that the first floor terrace is completely private. Prior to and during our stay communication from Stephan (the owner) and the maintainence team was excellent. The pool was cleaned once a week. A hire car is probably needed although taxis and a regular bus service (nearest stop 400yds away) are available if needed. Absolutely fantastic, thank you Stephan and team.

Very friendly owner and well equipped villa with everything you need for a family stay. Would have liked a couple more sun loungers, the little ones loved the pool. We had a wonderful stay thanks Matthias.
