Excellent villa in a perfect location

The villa is spotlessly clean in an ideal location. It is well equipped, well located and well managed. Nothing was too much trouble for our host who was battling external water supply issues. We have every intention of returning again and again. The only 'surprise' was that the shower for the upstairs bedroom is hand-held above the bath. A slight niggle, but nothing to stop us returning to the perfect spot.

Amazing villa

I Just got back from a week in this villa and it is every bit as good as the pictures suggest. I have been renting villas on the island for over 15 years and this is the 2nd villa I have rented in Lajares. It is by far the best we have stayed at. The villa is very modern and very clean, with the outdoor spaces being very private. The master bedroom has its own private outdoor space which is really nice to sit out while the sun rises in the morning. Being in Lajares it is very peaceful and relaxing but only a couple of minutes walk to the main road through Lajares where there is a bakery and a supermarket as well as a number of nice places to eat and drink. Being in Larajes means you are only a 15min drive to either El Cotillo or Corralejo and just a 10 minute drive on to Villaverde where there is a really good tapas restaurant. I will definitely be booking here again. PS. There is a little black cat that visits every morning that doesn't like too much human contact but really appreciates it if you leave a little bowl of food and water for it.

Excellent facilities and great location

We had a fantastic time staying here. The villa is a lovely place to relax and has great facilities. The pool area is lovely and it was a great place to relax. The location is perfect. We loved walking in to Lajares in the evening. We tried most of the local restaurants and they were all great. Also, a good location to go into El Cotillo or Correlejo if you have a car. Both only 10 minutes away. The local bakery and the ice cream place were great to pop to during the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here.

Amazing villa and great location!

What an amazing villa! It literally has everything you need and is minutes away from bars, cafes, restaurants and lovely boutique shops! Being in Lajares you are 10 minutes away from the beaches of El Cotilla and the shops, port and nightlife of Corralejo. The villa is beautifully presented, there is plenty of storage, a fab salt water pool, an amazing kitchen and airy bedrooms. Would definitely recommend and cannot wait to return!!

Excellent Villa in a brilliant location

The Villa was lovely and modern and had everything you could ask for, from a large 47" TV with SAT to a good Wifi coverage. The pool was a lovely size (10m x 4m) - big enough to have decent swim, and having an electric pool cover make it safe around young children. Pool temperature in early August is around 27°C which is definately warm enough for those who don't like cold pools. It's warm enough to stay in for hours without your body turning blue. This isn't a chlorine pool (Lightly Salty) so no more stinging eyes. The Pool has a light but it isn't very bright, but enough. The driveway leading to the Villa has an electric gate for added security and at night time the whole driveway and garden area are lit up. The Villa was in an ideal location and only a couple of minutes walk from the restaurants and shops in Lajares. Julie was very helpful and contactable if needed at all times. We would love to come back again

Fantastic villa in great location

Second time in Lajares and really enjoyed our stay - the villa is fantastic, finished and furnished tastefully and to a high standard. Great location - quiet but just a stone's throw away from the centre of the village. Could not fault anything and would highly recommend.

Fantastic!

My partner and I spent a week here to escape the chilly December weather in the UK and we couldn't have chosen a better property. The house is perfectly maintained as mentioned in previous reviews, with a fabulous outdoor area. The house contains everything you could possibly need and I wouldn't hesitate to book again if we return to the area. It is also super easy to find, approx 30 minutes from the airport. Julie could not have been more helpful, we only wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks so much Julie for a fantastic stay!

Fantastic villa in fantastic location

From the moment we approached the villa we couldn’t have been happier. The photos, as others have mentioned, don’t do it justice. My husband is a big kite surfer and surfer and the village of Lajares is ideal and within a minute walk to some fabulous little bars and cafes. The villa itself has everything you could need, is in fantastic condition and an ideal location. The villa lit up at night is like something from a Bond movie. A truly great stay, and Julie couldn’t have been more helpful.

Perfect peaceful getaway

We are in our late 50’s and are well travelled with a discerning taste however it is hard to say anything other than ‘perfect’ to describe our experience at this villa. As other reviewers have said, it is tastefully decorated throughout and equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable and easy. All equipment and furniture is good quality and works well including high power hair dryers. Numerous comfortable seating areas both inside and out to laze away the days and nights. We hired a car but didn’t bother to use it as we were able to walk to several excellent restaurants in the evening and the supermarket is about 10 mins walk away and has an extensive range of food, drink and toiletries. The village is lovely and quiet and all the shops are very welcoming to browsers. The perfect place for a chilled relaxing break when you want to avoid mass tourism and rowdy holiday makers. We will definitely be back for more.

It's actually MORE impressive than the photos suggest - a real luxury hideaway.

As a family of four, we truly had a fantastic time whilst on the island; made even more enjoyable having stayed at this wonderful villa. Very well designed and beautifully furnished. It was complete with every possible appliance you could require from a Nespresso coffee maker to an induction hob and so much more.. it's location is perfect, distant enough from the village centre to enjoy complete privacy yet within easy walking distance so as to absorb the lovely feel of Lajares and is numerous artisan shops, cafe/restaurants and bars. The photos really do not do it justice, truly enchanting, particularly impressive when lit at night! The owners are highly attentive without being in any way intrusive.......cannot wait to return and will book again immediately!!

Great Villa, Great location

This is our second time in Lajares so we already knew what a great friendly and laid back location it is with options for eating and drinking and not too far from other resorts, should you need to venture out. However, this villa has everything for this location, it is perfectly situated only about 100yds down a quiet lane to the centre of the village and yet far enough to maintain its privacy and tranquility. The villa itself is truly stunning and has everything for those wanting to relax in a private modern and clean environment. Not sure why previous reviewers mention the chilly pool unless they did not pay for the extra for pool heating. Julie was really helpful and there if you need anything and the cool bottle of 'El Grifo' we received on arrival was very welcome. Overall this is the best villa we have stayed in Fuerteventura and we will be returning.

Fantastic stay!

We had a great stay in Lajares in this fabulous villa. The villa was really easy to find with the information supplied by Julie, secluded and was pristine on arrival. Fully equipped kitchen with great living spaces and layout. The pool was wonderful (although a little chilly!) and the hot tub was a great addition and used on a regular occasion by us! The location was ideal; about 30-35 mins from the airport, 15-20 mins to the beaches and within easy walk from the Hiperdino supermarket, AMAZING bakery/patisserie and several great restaurants. The village is laid back and and very friendly. We would definitely return!!

First Class!

The villa is situated in a quite part of Lajares and has a real rural feel to it, but it is only a minute walk to the town 'centre' or four minutes to the supermarket. The villa has only recently been constructed and it shows - all the fixtures and fittings are top quality and look brand new. No expense seems to have been spared in its furnishing and all the electrical items are of a top-of-the-range specification. The floor to ceiling windows are fantastic, flooding the inside of the property with light and warmth. The bath and shower were excellent with plenty of hot water and the beds were huge and really comfortable. All of the outside areas were not overlooked and the pool looks fabulous (a bit too cold for us in January!) but the hot tub was amazing. The outside furniture was superb and really comfortable. The booking process worked well with Julie giving great customer service. We've stayed in many quality villas in the Canary Islands but this one is certainly one of the best; we would definitely return here and can't really recommend it highly enough.

Tolles Haus, tolle Lage

Wir haben wunderbare drei Wochen in diesem luxuriösen Haus in Lajares verbracht. Das Haus war sehr sauber, die Kommunikation mit Julie war perfekt. Die Nähe zu den kleinen Geschäften, Bars und Restaurants ist ein weiteres Plus. Am Wochenende bekommt man bei offenen Fenstern ein bisschen was vom Trubel in einer ein paar hundert Meter entfernten Bar mit, aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Wir kommen wieder.

Empfehlenswert

Die Villa ist sehr schön eingerichtet und bietet ausreichend Platz für 4 Personen. Für 6 Personen sind die Badezimmermöglichkeiten etwas klein. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, der Pool ist schön groß. Die Villa liegt auf einer leichten Anhöhe und ist von keiner Stelle einzusehen. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist das Ziegengemecker, das Hahnenkrähen morgens um 3 Uhr, das zahlreiche Hundegebell hat mich als Hundebesitzerin kaum gestört. Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig schnell zu erreichen, zum Strand benötigt man schon ein Auto. Mit dem Mietwagen die Insel zu erkunden ist sehr lohnenswert.

Fantastic luxury villa

We had the most amazing week at this beautiful villa. We had everything we needed and we’re able to fully relax in luxury! The villa is beautifully designed, taking account of the wind, sun and views. The location is excellent . The best villa we’ve stayed in in Lajares. Julie was an excellent, helpful and friendly host too. We’d love to stay again.

Nous avons passé deux semaines superbes à la casa Julianoa. La villa est très bien située ( proche du village mais au calme) . Tout était parfait tant l’aménagement intérieur qu’extérieur. La villa est très joliment décorée et très agréable (superbe vue depuis la terrasse de la chambre principale !) De plus, Lajares est un village très animé où l’on trouve de très sympathiques restaurants, mais aussi boulangeries et supermarchés. On recommande vivement.

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in der Villa. Es war genauso wunderschön wie beim ersten Mal. Man erholt sich nach kurzer Zeit. Restaurants und Supermärkte sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Lajares und Umgebung hat trotz seiner geringen Größe einiges zu bieten. Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen...
