Holiday rentals near Church of St Olaf

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage. We thouroughly enjoyed our visit. The house was gorgeous, so much space and light and had all the features you need to have a happy and enjoyable stay. Gorgeous views from every window and especially loved seeing the cattle and sheep in the nearby fields every morning at breakfast. There was loads of space outside to enjoy the gardens and sunhouse and the showers and whirlpool bath were a welcome site after a hard day on the fells. Highly recommended and much appreciated. Loved this cottage with the stream at the bottom of the garden and the wonderful views.Cottage was comfortable and warm. The hosts greeted us personally and were so approachable. It was equipped with everything we needed.

I must say, this was one of the BEST places we have ever stayed in. The lodge was spotless, the prosecco was a lovely touch, the view from the patio doors and decking was spectacular...as was the F15 fly-pasts!!

Have stayed before and as always spotlessly clean and kept to a high standard.Owners lovely and very helpful if anything is neededy.Very quiet and peaceful enjoyed so much returning in september

We had a lovely week here- the house is very comfortable & well-equipped, great to come back to after a day out. We enjoyed the interesting artworks (and even bought one of Marion's beautiful paintings!) The welcoming goodies were a real holiday treat. The garden is gorgeous, and so much of it to explore & enjoy. Marion and John are excellent hosts-so friendly & helpful whilst still being aware of giving us privacy. We would very happily come back. Wow! What a fabulous little cottage hidden down a little lane with the most spectacular views over Ullswater. Initially booked to take my mum away on holiday but following her sudden passing a week before the trip, we made the decision to still make the pilgrimage in her honour and we were not disappointed. Margaret and Phil, you have the most beautiful house, everything we could possibly need and your communication and kindness was exceptional. We cannot fault this holiday home and it was so central for everything. Views were changing by the minute depending on the weather, it was all so magical and helped to provide us with the tranquility that we so badly needed. Would definitely re book.

Lovely spacious and comfortable apartment with everything you could need. Lovely place to relax after a full days hiking in the fells with views and sunsets to admire from the balcony. Parking space which is a bonus. Very close to Ambleside with shops and places to eat. Great walks from the doorstep and from Grasmere, just up the road. Our second visit to this apartment, am sure we will be back again!
