A calm oasis

Lovely property with big outdoor terrace which is relatively private. Lovely view of the riviera, and who doesn’t love sitting amongst palm trees with breakfast? We walked to downtown in about 35 mins, and the beach. There is a trader joes only 10 mins walk away, and some really quirky cafes, shops and restaurants about 15 mins walk away on East Haley St. There are pavements in the neighborhood so walking is safe, and it feels like a really family friendly part of town. I would love to stay here again. So sad to leave after 31 days of bliss.

Don't hesitate. Just book it.

If you have found this property and it's available then just go ahead and book it. I don't believe you'll find anything better so save yourself the time. Everything everyone else has said is spot on. Anne and her house are amazing. We are a family of 4 with two teens and this was the perfect setting for us to relax at the end of a 10 day road trip. We loved the pool (both day and night) and the view and the garden were incredible. We had freshly squeezed orange juice from the tree and a BBQ round the pool in the company of Anne's two very friendly dogs. Toby and Winston. If we ever make it back to Santa Barbara we will be staying here (please Anne).

Beautiful cottage, exactly as advertised

We had a fantastic stay at Oak Tree Cottage and loved everything about it, from the charming owner, Debbie, who was inviting and helpful, to the fact that the cottage was newly refurbished throughout, in the centre of town and walking distance to everything, yet also peaceful and quiet. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend it.

Lovely cottage in easy reach of the sea

Fantastic place to stay with our 3 year old within 5 minutes stroll of a surprisingly quiet sandy beach. Walking distance to the zoo, excellent shop and trolley stop. Well equipped kitchen, BBQ in a quiet garden with comfortable seating. 2 good size bedrooms and several options for extra temporary beds. Very communicative and helpful owner put my mind at rest after the Montecito mud slide (neighbourhood was unaffected). Would love to come back.
