Holiday rentals near Hendricks Head Light

We had a great long weekend here. The house itself was beautiful and the location was stunning. We would love to come back one day!

A lovely cabin, full of character with wonderful views of the ocean. In a peaceful and attractive setting on Spruce Point.

We travel a lot and always prefer to stay in self-catering. When you live in someone else's space, there is always a tendency to look at it quite critically and think you might have done this or that a little differently - well not this time! Wendy and Jim have created a beautiful apartment in their home that is quite extraordinary from the perceptive of attention to detail, décor and little touches that make it truly special. Boothbay Harbour is breathtaking at anytime of the year and Lakeview Drive is in West Boothbay which is a 25 minute scenic walk or a 5 minute drive to the centre of the town. You loose nothing by being here because the house is located on the edge of stunning fresh water lake with wildlife by your window and beautiful sunsets. They provide canoes various and it was just one of life’s memorable experience to walk out of your door overlooking the dock on a still, crisp Autumn morning and Kayak around the lake with no noise apart from that created by nature. We cannot thank Jim and Wendy enough for their amazing hospitality, assistance and advice. We arrived as guests and left as friends – it does not get better than that. I am almost loath to post this review because this is a new venture for Wendy and Jim and I am certain that they will be overwhelmed by people wanting to rebook – get in now while you can.
