Holiday rentals near Burrows House Museum

I was nervous, given all of the 5* reviews, that we would be disappointed, but sea gem really does live up to its incredible reputation! Fab location, between lots of amazing places to visit and eat. The cottage itself is modern, clean and spacious, with plenty of space for all 5 of us. The beach was so quiet and we rarely saw anyone else on it. Beautiful sunsets to see from the porch. Absolutely perfect!

What a wonderful house! Spacious, beautiful, great views, great location. The beds are all comfortable, the bathrooms are roomy, and the living areas are wonderfully comfortable. The kitchen is amazingly well stocked and a great place to cook. The beach is wide, long and just a few steps away. We really enjoyed our stay, and highly recommend this place to anyone! We have just two issues. First, even though the Vrbo listing said there was cable/ satellite tv, in fact there isn’t . There is only a roku system. Second, when we had a shower malfunction three days before our departure, the property manager was unable to get it fixed. But all in all, this is one of the best places we’ve ever rented.

Wonderful home, steps from the beach, with room for a large group. Extremely well stocked in the kitchen and right down to the hair products, lotions and sanitizers. The kitchen is a chef's dream. Our family of twelve had bedrooms to fit all and enough space to spread out when that moment of solitude was required.

Perfect hideaway for a couple. Don and Jeannie are the perfect hosts, do not interfere but on hand if necessary. We spent 8 fabulous days here and we’re sorry to leave the Pacific Ocean behind. Newport is a great place to stay, plenty to do and see.
