The accommodation was perfect. I spent a snowy week in Sleights and had everything I needed. The place was extremely quiet and clean with nice dishes and furniture. Plenty of space for my stuff and situated near a bakery, a butcher’s shop, and a Spar. I appreciated the tea, milk and locally made biscuits that were laud out for me on my arrival.

We loved our stay at The Hideaway, it's well equipped and well placed to enjoy a holiday in Yorkshire. The local butchers and bakers are excellent and there is a lovely little walk around Sleights. The train line into Whitby or in the direction of Middlesborough is within walking distance from the apartment. We would definitely return.

Lovely well appointed holiday apartment.

Lovely well appointed holiday apartment. Everything you need for a self catering holiday. High end appliances, quality furnishings and linen. Ample parking. Easy access to Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay & Pickering. Nive walk round the village ending at the local pub. Well stocked shop and the fish & chip shop was an added bonus. Plenty of buses so easy to get around. Had a minor problem that was rectified by the owner and his team in record time, excellent customer service, nothing to much trouble. All in all a wonderful place to holiday and relax in.
