Our classic 2-bedroom Irish shake cottage, "Hitherside," is a true home—not a tiny house, apartment, or RV—offering authentic woods living just minutes from town by foot, car, or bike.

Inside, enjoy a cozy living room with a stone wood-burning fireplace (open November through March 1st) and a fully equipped kitchen with full-size appliances, a breakfast bar for 3, and additional seating for 2. The main floor features a master suite with a luxury king-size bed, a full bath with an antique vanity and shower/tub combo, and a custom vertical ship’s ladder leading to the 165 sq. ft. loft bedroom with two XL twin beds. Please note that the ladder is not suitable for toddlers, young children under 6, or anyone with balance issues (a Regalo toddler cot is provided on the main floor).

Out back, a full-length deck features a partially screened porch for outdoor dining, a gas grill, and a 4-person hot tub. Please note our strict house rules: maximum occupancy is 4 guests (including all babies and children), and the property is strictly 100% smoke-free and pet-free. Special NOTE: There is no internet at our location, though AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile cell service function well via personal mobile hotspots (Sprint does not work here). You can simply tether your phone service to your computer or other electronic devices.
