Twin Pines Nestled between the town of Leadville and Turquoise Lake. If you love taking a step into the past you will enjoy the decor of this home. It captures the old historic charm of Leadville. Lots of choochkie to look at, games to play and books to read and explore the Silver rush days and all the mischievous characters that shaped the area of that time. Learn what life was like when discovery meets challenge. Or if you are the outdoorsy type take advantage of the useful maps to help navigate your adventures, Leadville offers lots to explore. The maps are useful tools for all please replace for all to enjoy.
Furnished 3 bed 2 bath ranch style home in Leadville North backing to open space. Two rooms have walk in closets and additional storage is available. Kitchen is fully stocked from coffee pot to baking pans, self cleaning oven and microwave.

This property affords you a relaxed location with convenience to all the outdoor fun Colorado has to offer; downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing in the winter / and rafting, kayaking, biking, golfing, hiking, fishing in the summer. This well appointed cabin has all the comforts of home; kitchen with all appliances, comfortable, multi seated living room, dining room for 6 or more, private back yard that opens to the forest for immediate hiking, three bedrooms (two queens and one with twins) and one full bathroom and one 3/4 bath. Enjoy the electric glow fire place, no messing with wood and/or worry with gas. Just a hop to the notable historical sites and quaint shops and restaurants of downtown Leadville. There is plenty to enjoy! (Internet access and radio available, however, NO T.V. for the true mountain getaway experience!).

Turn down the room temperature but please do not turn the furnace off, pipes will freeze.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please clean out the refrigerator at departure. If over 3 items (besides condiments) are left including prepared food a $50.00 disposal fee will apply

Leadville and this location are fantastic places for a snowboard trip. Avoid I 70 and have access to multiple resorts within an essy hour drive!

Good Day and welcome to Leadville. I am a native of Colorado and grew up skiing all the local areas. One summer a friend got me into kayaking on the Arkansas River down by Buena Vista. So I found this great location in the middle of skiing in the winter, and boating in the summer. Leadville itself has much to offer beyond all that. Just the history is so amazing. Imagine, it was going to be the capital city of Colorado at one time! You can see why with all it's beauty, rich history and all the extraordinary activities at it's finger tips.. There is so much here to love and enjoy.

Why they chose this property

Great location close to skiing, sledding, the lake and downtown Leadville. Not to mention the Arkansas River for kayaking or rafting and the fantastic views no matter what you enjoy.
