Bike or walk to the Lower Village, or the Upper Village shops and restaurants. We are surrounded by biking/hiking trails, parks, local's favorite beaches and the famous San Ysidro Ranch, Rosewood Miramar and Four Seasons Hotels. The house is perfect for a large extended family or two small families that want to take advantage of everything that Montecito and Santa Barbara have to offer. The bright, sunny home is 3000 sq feet with a smart, spacious floor plan, soaring ceilings, and walls of glass throughout with 4 beds and 3 full baths. The newly remodeled fresh open floor plan includes a very large chef's kitchen and 14-foot island, new Miele appliances and separate large dining space for 8-10 with an Eero Saarinen table, and Milo Baughman chairs. All overlook the pool and outdoor dining area. The modern living room with high ceilings has 3 banks of sliders out to the yard. There is a separate den and TV room with office space and a well-appointed library. Great modern artwork and designer furniture throughout. The Primary Bedroom's dreamy, large ensuite spa-like bathroom has vaulted ceilings, a large shower, a separate soaking tub, and walls of glass tiles. Private patio sitting areas off of 2 of the bedrooms. The 40-foot sparkling pool and large jacuzzi are perfect for relaxing and include a large wrap-around deck for sunning and snoozing. Situated on a private acre, there is a comfortable large fire-pit area, lounge areas, a cold plunge, infrared sauna, a swaying hammock and a seasonal creek at the far end of the property. Great vacation

The property was perfect. Great location and very private. The pool area is very relaxing. The inside decor is amazing and very functional. The bedrooms are all good size with good storage. The master bath is great.

This house was perfect for our family vacation for spring break. It has great living spaces, is filled with beautiful modern decor, and has a 5 star back yard with a large pool and spa. Josiah and Justine were amazing hosts. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to Montecito.

Everything about this home was terrific- even more beautiful in person too! Home was very well stocked and terrifically maintained. Justine & Josiah were wonderful hosts! So welcoming, professional and thoughtful- and gave us a whole book of recommendations to make sure we thoroughly enjoyed our time in Montecito! Back yard was stunning too! Great quiet location too in close proximity to shops and beach. Loved this property!

This house is AMAZING. As gorgeous as the photos are, it is even better in person. Everything was perfect. The house was so well stocked, including (especially!) in the kitchen. The bedrooms are gorgeous and the yard is just beyond. Justine and Josiah are fantastic hosts too - super responsive when we had questions and just went out of their way with terrific recommendations of restaurants, beaches, and places to go. We brought our dog, and were thrilled that the house and neighborhood were so pet friendly. 1000000/10 have already planned our trip to stay here again next summer!
The hammock is so dreamy - our dog and I napped there every afternoon!

Amazing family time

We recently stayed at the Montecito modern for one week for a family get together. We were greeted by Josiah and he could not have been more gracious. The house is beautiful and lively with ample bedrooms and bathrooms. There were plenty of fresh white towels and bath supplies. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed. We wrapped up every night around the beautiful fire pit out back. Thank you for sharing your home!

The photos of this property do not do it justice. We had the most exquisite stay - the house itself is stunning with top-shelf everything (appliances, cutlery, bedding, artwork, etc). And the outdoor spaces are heaven on earth. Justine was very communicative and answered the few questions I had upon arrival promptly despite the fact that she was on vacation in another time zone. We’ve stayed in many houses in Montecito and this home is our new favorite. It manaoyo feel luxurious and homey at the same time. A perfect balance. A perfect trip! We’re already looking at our calendar to see when we can come back. Thank you for giving us such a beautiful landing pad for spring break!

Fabulous!

What an amazing home! Everything was above and beyond what we expected. The house itself was exactly what you’d want in not just a vacation rental but in a home. And the grounds! We cannot say enough about the grounds. It has the feel of a luxury resort that you have all to yourself. We brought our two dogs and they had the best time wandering, exploring and playing. And the location is perfect. Halfway between the Upper Village and Coast Village, a short drive to the beach and a short drive to Santa Barbara. If we had known how great this property was we would have booked it for longer. Will definitely be back!

Montecito

This is a clean, beautifully decorated home on a large piece of property in a premium location. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, juggling their own schedule to accommodate us. Some of the fixtures were tired (the owners mentioned they are renovating the kitchen and baths) but again, all was immaculately clean and fully functional. Owners also mentioned that they are adding a swimming pool to the grassy yard bordering an expansive natural / cactus garden. We particularly enjoyed sitting outside on the porch or by the gas firepit. The house and yard have terrific privacy, but the property does back up onto a school. If you are someone who - like my wife and I - enjoy the background noise of children playing, then no problem. We would definitely stay here again.

Cool retro home in Montecito

Justine and Josiah were very responsive. Josiah met us at the house on the first day and gave us a chilled bottle of Prosecco. The house is on an acre and very private with a great front lawn and a succulent garden in the back. My dog, Marley, loved running around and sniffing and investigating everything. Only a 15 minute walk to the beach. A lovely property. No AC but really it was not required.

Why they chose this property

This is a great house to walk to beaches, restaurants, trails, library and shopping just up or down the road. We are out of the summer fog. The house is light-filled with huge vaulted ceilings and walls of glass and large rooms. It is a 1-acre lot, but feels much larger like you're in the country while being right in the mix. Very private and happy home. Chef's kitchen and great pool, outdoor space with a perfect fire-pit to hang out at night after dinner on the deck under a starry sky.
