About this property

Missy's Get-a-Way (Lake Front Property in Warsaw, Mo on Lake of the Ozarks)

Cozy house sits lakefront on a very calm cove on the 87 mile marker of Lake of the Ozarks side. The cove is perfect for tubing with the little ones, riding your wave runners, or swimming or fishing from our private dock. You're welcome to bring your boat. The public boat launch is in Warsaw. House is on a blacktop road close and easy access to town.
We enjoy sitting on the deck and looking out at the lake, fishing off the dock, taking the paddle boat around the cove, going for a swim and maybe a boat ride. Best of all, it's a great place to relax!
The house is fully furnished. Gas grill on patio. Paddle boat you can use for a $30 fee. If you use the paddle boat, it will need to be strapped back on the dock. Just leave the money for using it on the kitchen counter.

If you're bringing a boat, please launch at Drake Harbor. Boat launch directions to Drake Harbor: Coming down 7 Hwy, Turn Right onto Main St. , Turn Right onto Seminary, Turn Left on Harrison, and then Right on Benton. You can park your boat trailer at the house.

Nice lakeside getaway

Nice tucked away house with everything we needed for a family fishing getaway. Check in was easy, communication was good, house was clean. We came early season (March) with a fishing boat so lake levels were a concern with getting to the house by water with the spring low lake levels but we were able to get there and use the dock...made early fishing easy being able to just hop on the boat and go. Good host, I'd stay with them again.

Everyone had a wonderful time!! Very nice place! Would definitely rent again!! Fishing was decent even though was really windy for kayaks. The dock area was great! A great overall experience! Definitely a 6 out of 5 stars!

The place was exactly as described, everything was clean and it was close to town. It was easy to communicate with the host and things went smoothly. The only thing that could have been better is if there was wi-fi because it is just out of good cell range, so there was not T.V. or anyway to stream television. They do have movies available on VHS and DVD but it would be nice to be able to sit down in the evening and watch the news

Very nice stay

The home looks small on the outside but is actually quite spacious inside. There’s a little walkway down to the dock. The dock had plenty of room for the two of us to fish from. We did not take the opportunity to swim this time but we did see people enjoying the water across the way. We enjoyed the quietness of the area. Warsaw was a short drive away and had very nice walking/bike trails. We enjoyed the Smokin Hot Harborfest while we were in town, food, drinks, and live music. If you don’t mind a little drive there are many things to explore in other nearby areas too including wineries, caves, restaurants, and shops.

Beautiful property for my families weekend getaway. Lovely house with plenty of sleeping room and a dock right off the water we swam in all day! The house was clean and the check-in/out process was very easy. Lynette and Mike were very easy to get a hold of for any questions you may have. 10/10 would recommend this lovely home :)

Not Lakefront!

If you think lake front implies that you are near the water, you will very disappointed. It is down a very steep incline with old stairs going down to the dock. It is a significant walk. I just find their description misleading. There is no beach at all. It is on a very dirty channel component of the lake. We didn't want to chance swimming. The house was nice and decently stcked kitchen. The room temperatures are very strange. Different rooms are hot or cold. If you are hoping to be close to the water, keep looking.

Secluded quiet cove setting

The cottage appeared quite small when we first pulled up but once we walked in it quickly opened up and you can easily accommodate up to 6 people. The deck and dock area are quite nice and the location for us was perfect as we have friends with a lake house right up the road. Having this rental allowed us to keep the surprise a secret for my sister’s retirement party. Thanks again.

I grew up spending many weekends and vacations around this beautiful cove just off the main channel of Lake of the Ozarks. My grandparents and parents built a house across the cove back in the 50's. My husband and I bought this property in 2006 and enjoy it with our children.

Why they chose this property

This property is a perfect location as it is on a blacktop road, just a few miles from Walmart and restaurants. The dock always has good level of water under it and is great for fishing and swimming.
