Pleasant 1-bedroom apartment with a private yard situated in a house split into two apartments in the Santa Croce district. Its a cosy and warm place.

This comfortable ground-floor apartment (47.5 m²) is situated in a house that has been split into two separate apartments with a shared entrance. It is very cosy with tasteful furnishings and a small, private yard. The exposed ceiling beams add to the charm.

The apartment is accessed via a hallway (7.85 m²) that leads to the living room.

The living room (19.3 m² - northeast facing) has two windows that look onto the street and has a sofa-bed, a TV, shelves, a table and four chairs.

The kitchen opens onto the living room and is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences (electric oven, gas stove, and refrigerator).

The bedroom (17.15 m² - southeast facing) has two windows overlooking the yard and contains a double bed, a day-bed (80 cm), two bedside tables and a wardrobe.

The bathroom (3.2 m² - southwest facing) has a small window that overlooks the yard and is fitted with a shower, sink, bidet, and toilet.

The private yard (28 m²) has a garden lounge with a table and six chairs.

Only a stone's throw from the Grand Canal and the train station, the apartment is situated in the Santa Croce district. The nearby Campo San Giacomo dall’Orio, far from the tourist traps, is a haven of peace. In the summer you'll find children playing outdoors while their parents take shelter from the sun under the large trees.

This district, off of the beaten path and frequented by locals, is nonetheless only a 15 minute walk from the Rialto district and 10 minutes from Campo Santa Margherita, one of the busiest and most popular squares in all of Venice. The square is also home to lots of student bars.

Greatest location!

Loved the style and size. Recently renovated with taste. Would highly recommend for a couple. Across the bridge from train station! Can’t beat it.

Great little hidden gem

I highly recommend this apartment. We were on the bottom floor. The apartment has a nice entry hall, bathroom, bedroom, and kitchen/living area. I was worried about AC but it worked great! Beds are comfortable. And we enjoyed the private patio out back. This place is close to Rialto bridge and train station but you will have to take water taxis or water bus to get to st. Marks area. Plan accordingly.

Excellent location.

The property served us well. Less than five minutes from the train station. Steps from the grand canal. Lots of excellent restaurants and grocery store near by. If there was a downfall it would be the noise from pedestrians walking the lane next to the suite. Although I must say the only room that was noisy was the kitchen. The bedroom was nice and quiet
