Our Fisgard Flat @ the Union is a luxuriously appointed one-bedroom condo in the Union Building, located in the heart of downtown Victoria, BC.

You'll love our perfect "Design District" location 1 block from the inner harbour. From our suite, look out at the beautiful sights of Chinatown: lucky red-paper lanterns, gas-flame lamps and the famous Gates of Harmonious Interest (built as “a permanent monument to mark the harmony of the multicultural society which all Canadians enjoy.”) The Union Building was built in 2014 and spans the entire block between Chinatown to the north and Market Square to the south.

Aside from the sights of Chinatown, our top-floor suite affords a spectacular north-facing view over the heritage brick buildings of Old Town, to the inner harbour and Vancouver Island mountains beyond. Enjoy spectacular sunsets from the balcony and the living room's comfortable leather furniture.

The 9-foot ceilings and full-height windows allow lots of natural light. The living room offers designer touches - such as the gloss-laminate coffee table with a lift-top - and affords ample space to relax on the leather sectional couch. The dining room is romantic and cozy with the wall-mounted fireplace.

The bedroom has a comfy queen-size bed. The condo is best suited for 2 people, however two extra guests can be accommodated on the queen sofa-bed, and we also have a Pak'N'Play + bedding for a baby (please note the height of the balcony and its furniture make our unit unsuitable for toddlers and small children!!)

The full kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to prepare gourmet meals.

In-suite laundry is provided, and other amenities include telephone, cable + HDTV, Netflix, free Wifi internet, board games, and 1 parking spot in our enclosed, underground parkade.

The harbour ferry stops one block away ... take a tour of the Gorge waterway or go for fish & chips at Fisherman's Wharf.

There are numerous excellent restaurants within a few blocks, including Mo;le, Jam, Swan's Brewpub, II Terrazzo, ulla, Green Cuisine Vegetarian, Canoe Brewpub, Brasserie L'Ecole, to name just a few.

We will meet you upon arrival (we don't do self check-in), to ensure that you have everything you need and answer any questions that you may have. We will be happy to send you info and links prior to your stay, for everything from our recommended restaurant list to transportation info (even bike and kayak rentals)... just ask!

Absolutely Fabulous Apartment in Great Location

The apartment was exactly as shown in the photographs and had everything you could possibly need and more. Karen was very responsive to communication and met us there and showed us around and told us how everything worked, and how to get in and out of the building and car park. The kitchen was really well equipped with an oven and hob, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, coffee machine, Nespresso machine and loads of crockery, cutlery and glasses. There was also a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. TV with cable, Netflix etc. dining table, log effect fire. I could go on! The location was fantastic, right on China town, the best coffee shop in Victoria next door (Bean Around the World) and on the other side an absolute gem of a patisserie (La Roux). Inner harbour was a 15 minute walk and Fisherman's Warf about 25 minutes. The main shopping area is minutes away on foot, and there are some lovely shops right next to the patisserie. Butchart gardens was about half an hour away, as was the ferry terminal at Schwarz Bay. I cannot say enough about this accommodation, I absolutely loved it and could have just stayed forever 😂 If you’re considering whale watching while in Victoria I’d highly recommend Prince of Whales, we did a sunset whale watching tour and it was amazing. We saw humpback whales and two groups of Orca which merged together into a pod of 6. Fantastic boat, great facilities and excellent team looking after you. Thanks again Karen, it was fabulous.

Perfect location, immaculate place & lovely host!

We stayed in the flat 2 nights and it really felt like a ‘home away from home’. The flat is bright and feels very safe. The commodities are just perfect with the added bonus of a nespresso coffee machine and an incredible home cinema set up. Finally the location is superb, with lots of individual boutiques and arty shops round the corner. Most importantly, our host was so attentive and took time to give us tips for places to eat and very thoughtful tips about catching our ferry to and from Vancouver. A very nice way to end our long holiday, thank you!

Home away from home

So easy to be here! Well stocked, well located, clean, comfortable. Check in was in person with time to learn all the details of how everything worked and where everything was. Well organized booklet with any information needed during our stay. Very good stay!!

Fantastic condo

Excellent Flat in the Heart of Old Victoria

Great location and comfortable stay

The property was perfect for our 5day visit to Victoria. We did not have a car and didn't need one. Everything was within walking distance and city bus was super close to take to the gardens.

Victoria get away

Great Stay!

This is the perfect location! Centrally located so we could walk to everything. We felt very safe while we were there. The apartment had everything we could need and was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

Fisgard Condo in Union Building

Perfect location downtown Victoria, just a short walk to the beautiful inner harbour. Victoria’s is very walkable . Condo kitchen was very well stocked, no problem to cook a nice dinner . Views are far reaching and expansive. Karen was very available , kind and really stepped up and helped when we encountered some travel issues .

perfekter Aufenthalt in Victoria Chinatown

Die Wohnung lag zentral in Victoria mit Parkmöglichkeit, sodass man viel zu Fuß erreichen konnte. Karen und Tom waren sehr nett und alles war super organisiert und sauber. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Perfection in Victoria

What a wonderful stay we had at this well appointed condominium in the heart of town! Safe, secure, immaculately clean and well appointed in every way. We could and did walk everywhere around town. The condo is centrally located to the shopping district, seaside walks, restaurants of every culture just about! When stepping out of the building there are incredible coffee shops, French bakery and China town is just steps away as well. Did I mention the secured parking garage under the condominium? We never took the car out the entire time we were there, but it was nice to know the car was safely parked and not on the street. We will definitely be back! Thank you Karen for your kindness and help getting us set up in your beautiful condominium!

Fun spot

Good location if you're mobile and like to walk. A bit noisy with traffic noises and sea gulls when you're not used to it! Lol. Lots of eateries close by and conveniently located for tourist attractions

Best Location!

If this condo is available for your dates book it now! It is exactly as the pictures show. Safe neighborhood, secure building, clean and well taken care of. Condo is well stocked with dishes, utensils, spices, laundry soap, shampoo/conditioner, and lots of extras we didn’t expect. The location can’t be beat with proximity to Wharf Street and so many excellent restaurants just out your front door. Our recommendations: Finns for dinner, Swans Brew Pub for a cold beer. Breakfast at Shanzee’s Biscuit Cafe or Jam Cafe as both are excellent. For a simpler coffee shop breakfast try the Sour Pickle Cafe just around the corner. For lunch or dinner a must is the Wor Won Ton at Fan Tan Cafe. Sightseeing at Beacon Hill Park, Fisherman’s Wharf, and the Harbour Air Panoramic tour were all excellent! The owners and property manager are great and gave lots of excellent recommendations.

Excellent Location

The apartment was perfect for my wife and me. It was a beautiful unit in the heart of China Town. Fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was modern, clean and just as the pictures represented. Margaret met us and showed us everything about the unit and got us off on a wonderful stay in Victoria. Traumhaft in Victoria

Dieses Apartment ist wärmsten zu empfehlen. Es liegt traumhaft, mitten in Downtown Victoria.Alles ist Fußläufig sehr gut zu erreichen. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen und das Apartment ist SEHR geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Auch die Betten sind äußerst bequem. Abgerundet wird das ganze durch einen eigenen , gesicherten Tiefgaragenplatz, von dem es sich bequem mit dem Fahrstuhl zum Apartment fahren lässt. Alles in allem mehr als 5* wert!

Wonderful condo

We loved our time in this beautiful condo. It was well appointed and contained everything that we needed for our stay. The kitchen was had everything we needed and the building and parking security were top notch. Karen and Tom were very responsive to any inquiries we had. If we were to come back to Victoria again I would definitely stay here. The location made it easy for us to walk just about anywhere we wanted to go including a two minute walk to the waterfront. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone who wanted to stay in Victoria.

Victoria March 2020

The property was ideal. Given the Covid19 issue, we ended up doing lots of home cooking so we were thankful for the functional kitchen. There was also an abundance of supplies from basic food stuffs to shampoo. It’s so central a location - an easy walk to the Market on Yates. We were most impressed with Margaret, the manager. She phoned to check on our stay and shuttled us to the airport at 4:30 am. She even had 2 face masks for us. Thanks so much!
