Great location, quiet, few minor issues with the cottage (front door lock), but otherwise a great week in a marvellous town on the edge of the Dales.

We had an amazing weekend break at the cottage. The access was easy, it had every we needed for a weekend, even some little extras like tea and coffee to start us off right. Location and proximity to town and walks was brilliant. Everything on your doorstep. It was clean, comfortable and cosy. I Would highly recommend this cottage to explore Skipton and the surrounding areas. My only negative was the parking, it advertised street parking but the alleyway behind the house was too narrow to leave our car parked, or even unload close to the house. We parked on the Main Street which was fine, but not easy with luggage and supplies.

Great place but a bit tired in places and needs a revamp and update.

Great place but a bit tired in places and needs a revamp and update. Garden needs cutting back and patio and yard could do with a jetway. If the place is to be dog friendly it needs a gate on the back yard. We had to use a piece of board to block it off.TV and hifi needs sorting out. Tiny TV and yet a high value speaker that you needed a good bit of knowledge to work out as there were no instructions.Overall a good location but a revamp and bit of TLC Would go a long way. The neighbours were fantastic. Very friendly.
