The Wild Goose Lodge is the perfect place to stay while you experience the exhilarating thrill of adventure this spring in the Adirondacks . At 5,000 sq. ft, the Lodge offers 8 private bedrooms, 4 with beautiful Adirondack Style Queen size beds & 4 with double bunk beds, comfortably sleeping up to 26 people. 24' X 30' Great Room with Fireplace, Commercial-Grade Kitchen, 30' x 32' game room, 3 full Bathrooms, Laundry Room & Marble Steam Room.
This 'Adirondack Lodge' has long been known as a gathering place for many local residents and it is now available for rent on a weekly basis. With rich history beginning in 1953, this camp was first started as a hunting club in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains located on Route 26 (formerly known as Route 99) in Loon Lake, NY, 6 miles north of Route 3, in between Saranac and Saranac Lake.
You'll enjoy cozy fires by the beautiful Fieldstone Corner Fireplace in the 24' X 30' Great Room, or cooking your favorite dishes in our remarkable Commercial-Grade Kitchen with a 6 Burner, 2 Ovens, Broiler, & Griddle Stove, 2 Commercial Stainless Steel Refrigerators, a regular size Refrigerator, and an upright Freezer. Tons of counter space, all sorts of pots, pans & bake ware, utensils galore, and an extensive spice rack allow several guests to join in the fun of cooking your favorite meals.
On the lower level you'll find a 30' x 32' game room equipped with something for kids of ALL ages to play. Enjoy a game of pool, electronic darts, foosball, shuffle board, or air hockey. In addition, there's a bar with cooler, card table, and a 42' flat panel TV with a Wii console.
To help make your stay just a little more comfortable & relaxing there are 3 full Bathrooms, Laundry Room with 2 Washers & 2 Dryers and a Private Marble Steam Room to unwind in after a day full of activities.
We are centrally located near Saranac Lake (25 mins), Lake Placid (35 mins), Malone (40 mins), Wilimington (45 mins), and Plattsburgh (45 Mins) which gives our guests endless things to do. Nestled in the Adirondack Mountains the Lodge is a haven for outdoor (and indoor!) recreation of all kinds all year long!!!
Hike the nation's largest hiking trail system with 2,000 miles of trails , destinations ranging from mountain summits to isolated waterfalls to forest glades. The abundance of Rivers and Lakes offer some of the best Fishing in NY State. Canoe, Kayak, or swim in one of the 3,000 ponds and lakes or in the 1,500 miles of rivers . There are Cross-Country Ski trails galore and miles and miles of snowmobiling trails to explore!
