A beautiful house, very well equipped kitchen. The bathroom was great. Comfy beds, very spacious house, lots of room for the family. Lovely to have an outdoor eating area and easy to access and secure car parking spot. Only complaint is that 5pm is quite a late check in time, earlier would be better. We had to resolve an issue with wrong lock box code which delayed check in further but that was the only negative of this lovely house.

6 night stay at La Boulange was perfect for us after visits to Normandy and Bordeaux. We had initially intended to stay in Amboise but are so glad we ultimately booked here. What a peaceful spot to unwind. We did some active things like a wine tasting, kayaking the Cher, bike riding and touring Chateau Chenonceau but enjoyed just as much several pleasant walks to the village of St Georges sur Cher for pastries and market day (Sunday) and just sitting in the sun with a glass of wine listening to the birds in the trees. The apartment was large, clean, comfortable and as advertised and Chantal communicated in an easy and timely fashion. Parking is right outside the door for those, like us, using a rental car to tour France. We would not hesitate to book this unit again.

A lovely base

We wanted a place near to the chateaux of the eastern end of the Loire. It served its purpose ideally. It also enabled us to take walks free from passing traffic, and the surrounding countryside was delightful.

Clean house well located to visit castles

The only negative point for older folks is not have any bathroom upstair with bedrooms. Beside this all good.

Nous avons séjourné 2 nuits à la Boulange, parfaitement située pour visiter Chaumont-sur-Loire, Chenonceau et Amboise. Le gîte est fonctionnel, refait à neuf et très propre, nous y avons très bien dormi et tout est inclus dans le prix de la nuitée (draps, serviettes, ...). Logement impeccable

Très beau logement idéalement situé pour aller au zoo de Beauval ou visiter la région. Le logement est spacieux, propre et décoré avec goût. Il ne manque rien pour un séjour parfait.
