Truly one of the best beach weeks we’ve had. Bay side was perfect, quiet and relaxing. 5 min drive to the beach was easy. Plenty of parking even for a holiday weekend.
Home is lovely with a view of the Bay that can’t be beat. Master Bedroom Suite has a terrific bathroom with view. Kitchen is large and comfortable. Need to update the decking.
Loved our stay at Emily & Tony's. We were able to bring our pup with us and have a nice family Easter getaway. The location was perfect for a quiet but still close to the action in LBI. Thanks for a great stay.

It’s was a pleasure hosting you. Please come back!
We loved our stay, the house was a perfect fit and we loved all of the activities that are provided! The house is clean, updated and provides everything needed for a great beach vacation!
We are excited for our stay again next year!
Loved this house. Best place we've stayed on the shore, (and we've stayed at many!) The house is really nice: bright, airy with high ceilings, modern design and great open kitchen. We loved the main deck off the living room and the mini deck just off the bedroom. Dock is super convenient for kayaking or even swimming in the bay (it's shallow but nice and warm). Tiny Cedar Bonnet Island is quirky and super convenient to LBI. The beach at Surfside, just 10 min away is gorgeous for walking and surprisingly quiet on weekdays in July. Host was helpful and AC worked great on a VERY hot humid week. We're coming back next year.
My husband and I enjoyed our stay on CBI at this property. The bayfront home has a spectacular view and there is plenty to do. The house is fully equipped, clean and pleasant to live in. We enjoyed kayaking the small islands and watching the birds. The property manager is very kind and and accessible.
Emily was a fabulous host and her property is beautiful. House was well stocked and the view is amazing. We went during a winter weekend with a scary forecast and Emily was so helpful and very responsive. She offered an alternate date due to the storm but we decided to go and had a fabulous time experiencing the storm With a view. Highly recommend!
Emily is very kind and communicative! House is beautful situated on the bay with gorgeous views. The neighborhood is great. Everyone was so nice and welcoming while walking the island. Very quiet area! House was well-stocked with cleaning products, paper towels, etc.
Lovely stay! Will be back!
The house was clean and tidy. Enjoyed sitting in the living room in front of the lovely gas fireplace. . Unfortunately it is spring ant season and we had an invasion going on. ANT traps were set out . Also we started to barbecue steaks but the propane tanks were empty.

Thanks for being a great guest. I'm so sorry to hear about the gas! We have a spare in the shed. I've sent the pet-friendly exterminator over since it looks like this is a bad spring for ants.
We were pleasantly happy to see the layout to be clean, comfortable, cozy, odorless, and tidy. The location on the bay was fantastic and the neighborhood was extremely quiet. The bay views were spectacular. The house is fully stocked with utensils, dishes, glasses, stemware, water toys, two bicycles, etc. Relatively new GE appliances and full size washer dryer. The area they use as a workstation was perfect for my purpose where I could see the bay and open the screen door. Plenty of room for outdoor seating and a small gas barbecue grill. The maintenance of the home was excellent. Definitely easy on/off the Causeway. We are looking forward to staying at this property again.
What a lovely house Emily & Tony have! – all the amenities – you don’t hae to bring much. Food shopping is simple with choices like ShopRite & Walmart (beware no plastic bags). The neighbors are super friendly and informative on the area. The beds are comfy, the house cool, the dock was enjoyable – our seagulls and Canadian geese visit in the AM and if you want sun – the deck is perfect and perfect to watch the fireworks all weekend across the bay. LBI is a quick bike or car ride – we enjoyed biking to Ship Bottom daily and the north end beaches with beach passes for Surf City were wonderful, easy parking and uncrowded beach. Lovely, lovely house, highly recommend

Thank you Elizabeth :) hope to have you stay again!
We all loved it. there was a constant breeze and the bay is so relaxing . It was great to have a dock that was easy to get our kayaks in and out of. The bay is a great place to kayak. Our weather was quite nice for most of the time for kayaking. the home was nice. We enjoyed the space, the upgrades and the decks. the one problem we had was the cat hair and dirt on the white cushions. We ended up using all the blankets to cover the cushions. When we cleaned before leaving we cleaned up many 'dust bunnies' in every room. We would have done a better job if there was a vacuum cleaner. the small Dyson lost power after 10 minutes and we couldn't figure out how to open the dirt chamber. The island was really small. We all like to walk and there wasn't much land to do that. Otherwise the island was really quiet.
My family and I really enjoyed our week on Cedar Bonnet Island. We were close enough to the island to enjoy those amenities but far enough away to relax right on the quiet of the water. The neighborhood is small, roads narrow, and sometimes difficult to navigate. The house is beautiful and views equally breathtaking. We thought we were in heaven.
However, the fridge needed a new filter, so ice was a precious commodity. The bikes were not usable and due to the holiday weekend, the recycles were overflowing before we even moved in taking up space in the driveway. If someone was stopping by or dropping something off the neighbors were yelling at us within minutes. The neighbors greeted us upon our arrival with “Hello Renters” which felt awkward.
We have been coming to LBI for than 20 years. This was our first time on Cedar Bonnet. We enjoyed our visit and appreciate the lovely home.
There are so many positive things to say about this rental house. The house itself is decorated beautifully. The layout works perfectly with three bedrooms on the second floor and the kitchen and living room in the first floor. A large deck, perfectly outfitted is off the living room and a smaller deck off the master bedroom. The first floor deck saw much use during our trip as the central location for everyone to congregate and relax. The glass walls give you the sense of having the open water right at your fingertips.
The house itself is so well equipped that we ended up leaving much of what we brought in the car. Especially when it came to kitchen and cooking items. There are many tv and streaming options if you do happen to get a rainy day.
The sleeping accommodations were extremely comfortable and the master bathroom looks to have recently been renovated with care. We loved the nautical theme. Walk in shower and hot tub bath.
For those worried about not being on the ocean. We didn’t miss it. We spent many hours using the paddle board and kayaks and just exploring the bay. We also caught enough crabs off the dock for two meals while there. Other outdoor games were provided and kept everyone busy. If you do feel the need to go to the ocean it’s a short bike or car ride over the bridge. Easily accessible and 6 beach tags made it easy for the kids when they did decide to go there
I’m sure I’m missing something but I’d just say that we’ve rented a number of houses on LBI and this was our favorite and nicest. Family came to visit and raved about the house. You’d have a hard time finding a nicer house and a better lbi experience. Oh and communicating with Emily was extremely easy and she was very accommodating.

Emily
WE USUALLY STAY ON LONG BEACH ISLAND BUT DECIDED TO TRY BAYFRONT ON CEDAR BONNET ISLAND THIS YEAR. IT WAS WONDERFUL HAVING THE BAY IN OUR BACKYARD AND THE SUNSETS AT NIGHT WERE BEAUTIFUL. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.
Cozy home located just off of LBI. Views of the bay were spectacular. Easy drive or bike ride to the beaches. Neighbors were very friendly and welcoming. Modern and well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay again.
We loved our stay at Emily’s beautiful home. Everything was pictured on the listing or even better. Such a treat to spend mornings with coffee on the deck overlooking the bay and dinners outside with multiple nights of fireworks in the distance (we stayed over the week of July 4th). The kitchen had everything we could possibly need and more. We appreciated the quiet setting on CBI with easy access to the beaches, restaurants, rides, etc on the main island. We hope to return again!
Emily & Tony’s house has an incredible outdoor area and full views of the bay. And the inside is just as extraordinary. Plenty of room to spread out and be comfortable.
The house has an incredibly well stocked kitchen. There were plenty of linens and towels as well as tons of extra blankets for chilly evenings on the deck
It's an easy to walk or drive onto LBI for supplies or beach time.
Emily was super responsive, although we had no real reason to reach out to other than to ask about extending our stay!
Tony and I fell in love with Cedar Bonnet Island (and each other!) when his mom lived in this house. After it was hit hard by Superstorm Sandy we took it over and remodeled it top to bottom.
I work in media in NYC and Philadelphia and Tony is a freelance web developer. We love birdwatching, the breeze off the bay, stargazing and hosting friends and family at the house. We think you will too!
Why they chose this property
This neighborhood just keeps getting better. We're a short kayak or walk from Forsythe nature preserve. A 10 minute walk towards the mainland over to the outdoor bar, The Boatyard (which is a lot of fun) and 5-10 minutes to the Surf City and Ship Bottom beaches.
A few favorites: Best crab cakes are at the fish market in Viking Village. Mystic Seafood on the island has great lobster rolls and you can pick up clams for steamers. The Gateway has the best clam chowder (and it’s available by the quart to go). Chicken and the Egg is a fun, casual place — wings featured on a Food Network show. For dining out, the Arlington, DaddyOs and the Daymark are favorites. We love the Local for coffee and pastries.
What makes this property unique
Well designed and comfortable, this house is perfect for family vacations - and our guests love to come back after a day at the beach or mini-golfing to just hang out on the deck to BBQ and be together. While the house was recently remodeled and has a refined beachy theme, the standout feature is the view and sunsets.
