Salmon Cottage is a family home with beautiful views of Cashel Bay and the Atlantic coast. Just off the Wild Atlantic Way, the house is designed to make the most of the magical light and breathtaking wilderness of this far European shore.



Set over one floor, the house is light and airy and perfect for children or groups of all ages.



Hallway – enter via a sheltered porch into the hallway, complete with a heated cupboard to dry your outdoor clothes. This leads you to the…



Kitchen/dining area with seating for 8 and views across the bay. High ceilings and large French doors create a sense of light and space. An open fire and comfortable chairs mean you can relax in a cosy, friendly space. Access to the terrace, through the French windows, leads you to the spectacular shoreline.



The kitchen is fully equipped with top-of-the-range (Bosch and Neff) appliances, a dishwasher, oven/hob, ample cupboard space and a work surface. Next door is a larder with more storage and a large fridge with an ice box/freezer compartment. Up three low steps is the…



The sitting room has wide windows looking south and west across the bay. The room has a stove, 2 large sofas and 2 armchairs. Linked to the kitchen/dining area, the space feels both connected, creating a sense of space, and separate, allowing different groups to relax in their way. The room contains a wireless speaker and FM radio, which can be heard in both areas.



4 bedrooms



Master bedroom – With a king-size bed and semi-en-suite bathroom, wardrobe, dressing table and access to the terrace, this room offers ample space and privacy from the remainder of the house.



Double/twin – Containing a super king bed, which can be split to make two full-size singles, a chest of drawers and a hanging rail. This room has three windows with views of the sea, Cashel Mountain and the setting sun.



Twin room – This twin room has sea views from both beds a chest of drawers and high-light ceilings.



Triple room – Triple and a single bed. The room has a chest of drawers and hooks for hanging.



2 Bathrooms



Master bathroom – Containing bath, lavatory, sink and large vanity unit, this room is accessible to other guests or exclusive to the master bedroom.



Family bathroom – Equipped with bath with stand-up shower unit, sink, lavatory and washboard.



Utilities



The house has a washing machine and tumble dryer, pressurised hot water and heating which can be controlled from your mobile phone, an iron and ironing board and a heated drying rack.



Outside



The house is situated at the end of a private drive, out of view of the public road. There is ample parking for 2 cars, a large terrace and about an acre of surrounding land, leading to a private shoreline. A small shed contains wood for the fire, garden furniture and a barbecue. The entrance to the house is via a sheltered porch with space for wet suits, wet clothes and equipment to dry before entering the house.
