Log cabin in Worcester, New York nestled on six wooded acres. 35 minutes from Cooperstown (Baseball Hall of Fame, Dreams Park, antiques, beach and boating, and craft shops), and two college town of Oneonta (restaurants, movies, shopping, Soccer Hall of Fame, All Star Village) and Cobleskill. (Howe and Secret Caverns, American Indian Museum). Spectacular Fall foliage.

Guests appreciate the closeness of nature and quiet time to rediscover each other. Many write in the guest book that they find that they preferred to stay in the cabin rather than sightseeing. A perfect spot for the artistic and writers. Families can enjoy fishing, hiking, searching for fossils, golfing and whatever else nature provides. Romantic for couples.

This is a "leave no trace" property in order to keep prices low for families. We've eliminated the expense of cleaning services which would cost at least an extra $100 per visit. We have successfully operated this property requesting that guests leave the cabin clean for the next guests. Cleaning instructions are included with instructions to close the cabin.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

The cabin was clean, we'll decorated, with comfortable beds and full kitchen. Landscaping was exquisite. It had one bedroom on main floor and two lofts, one with a queen bed and the second had 2 single trundle beds. The lofts are accessible via ladders. The single bed loft requires one to be limber to get into the loft due to closeness of the roof.

Lovely, quiet setting and cute log cabin. Outdoor space was beautiful and main bedroom was perfect for my husband and me. Two other bedrooms were lofts accessed by ladders so wouldn’t recommend cabin for more than 1 adult couple, but great for families with kids. Hosts were very responsive and helpful when we dealt with a WiFi issue (that just turned out to be an unplugged router). There is no cleaning fee so they do ask guests to do a bit of cleaning before leaving, but well worth not having to pay an extra 150 or whatever for cleaning. All in all, great experience.

The cabin and property were beautiful. Cabin was clean and comfortable. The location was close enough to Cooperstown but you felt like you were away from all the crowds. Highly recommend staying there.

Cabin is a great location to get away from it all. Set in the woods, this property is great for a family weekend away. The owners are very nice and easy to get a hold of if you need anything!

Perfect getaway

This was our honeymoon and i can honestly say it was exactly what we wanted. A little cabin, big Jacuzzi tub, and warm wood stove. This was the best little getaway we could have asked for!

We stayed for Baseball HOF weekend. Easy 25 minute drive to Cooperstown. Perfect setting in the woods for our family of five. Kids loved of loft sleeping areas. Host was very responsive to my questions and kind. Great place and would stay there again when visiting!

This property is a unique piece of heaven in the woods near a small town and close to Cooperstown and several college towns. One of its treasures is the long stream of people who have rented it with an appreciation for nature and respect for the next guests. People have renewed their relationships, gotten married, had honeymoons, made decisions and held family reunions here. Children have enjoyed a treasure hunt we provide and the joy of learning to skip stones, find fossils and roast marshmallows in the fire pit under a star filled sky.

We feel that this property is a gift to us to be shared, and it's our joy to read the guest book comments. We keep the costs as low as possible so families on budgets can afford a bonding moment with each other and nature. Profits from the rentals go into cabin upkeep and improving the lives of people in third world countries - most recently food and a sanitation facility in a very remote village.
