We loved our stay at the Beach House. The cabin was lovely, with an incredible view and deck to enjoy the scenery, plus beach access just steps away. We would definitely stay there again.

Wow! Absolutely loved this beach house! The stunning views, fresh sea breeze, and beautiful walks on the beach made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. It was also such a wonderful spot to spend quality time with family. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend it.

The cabin is easy to find and access on Gillies Bay Road. Comfortable and well equipped, we had a great break with our son and daughter in law and their dogs.Basics in the kitchen provided which is useful when cooking (limited places to eat from mid-September)We had great weather and enjoyed sitting on the deck looking out over the ocean and reading.Enjoyed hiking up Mount Davies and walking down to Shelter PointTexada is beautiful and the cabin is perfect Thank you

Overall, property was fine. Clean, nice view and location, well provisioned. Perhaps showing a degree of decay and ongoing attention, the mattress in master bedroom seems to be wearing, it's likely the door entry code had not been changed in last 10 months (the same code was used for guests last summer), trash has accumulated on slope below deck, and a couple of lights were out on the property, etc.

Hi Greg, we had no idea you thought so poorly of our cabin and are honestly floored and gutted you gave us a 3 star rating after your check in message to us was so nice and appreciative and you mention here that overall the property was fine. The mattress is meant to be plush so it’s not firm. I’m not sure why you think we use the same code for the last 10 months? It’s an odd comment given you’ve never stayed with us before and don’t know anyone who has? Do you share your codes with your friends? I’m sorry but we can’t give you any money back.

Our stay was quiet and peaceful. We had sunny weather, but even on a cold or rainy day, this is the perfect place to curl up and enjoy the ocean panorama from the window. Loved it!

We stayed at the Beach House over the Christmas holidays and enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings and the views - the kitchen was well stocked for our cooking needs and we had a lovely, relaxing time away from it all.
