Relax in the hot tub while watching the Eagles, Vultures, Blue Herons, and Hawks Soar over the ocean just off the deck. The perfect retreat for couples to unwind or families to make lasting memories. The beach is famous for the summer sandcastle competition. Miles of sand, tide pools, and sealife spread across Gilles Bay making the bay a perfect place to swim in the warm ocean, paddleboard and kayak. 9-hole golfing, hiking and a convenient 5 min walk to the local general store that supplies all groceries and liquor.

Sand Dollar Cabin

We really enjoyed our time there. The cabin has everything you need and the Island was neat to explore, lots of walking trails for us and our dog. We want to come back in the summer and explore all the nice beaches we saw. Thank you, Dave, Patti and Jake!

The Sand Dollar Cabin is a great place to stay!

We expected snow and rain so we were well equipped. The Cabin was clean and is well equipped. Being only the width of a wall away from the ocean was a real treat. Waking up to an unobstructed view of the ocean was amazing. I think we had the blinds open 24/7. Don't give it a second thought... Book your stay here! No regrets.

Comfortable and Well Located

An older log style cottage with an excellent view overlooking Gillies Bay. Everything conveniently located within the cottage other than the missing remote control for the dvd player.
