With stunning views and a quiet atmosphere Eyemouth is positioned on a dramatic headland 8 miles north of Berwick. It’s attractions include shops, restaurants, beach and a harbour. It’s a couple of mins drive to Coldingham Bay and St. Abbs which we look onto from our lodge and benefit from the most amazing sunrises and sunsets.

The neighborhood
Sharon’s place is located in Berwickshire, Scotland, United Kingdom.
We visited Eyemouth this year and fell in love with the place immediately, the beautiful coastline and beaches are idyllic. The town is a seaside resort and working harbour with many tourist attractions to keep you entertained all year round. It’s infamous for the local seals and dolphins which we have spotted several times throughout the summer from our decking. The local restaurants and coffe shop have brilliant reviews on trip advisor for you to check out, our favourite ones being Giacopazzi’s, Rialto and Oblo. If you have time, would recommend a short drive to St. Abbs to sample the fresh seafood at Ebbs Carr cafe.
Getting around
Eyemouth town is walking distance (5 mins) from our lodge. Berwick is a 10 mins drive and there is a regular local bus service from Eyemouth to Berwick which has a train station that can take you north and south (Edinburgh is a 40 min train journey from Berwick) Northumberland is on your doorstep as we are only 5 mins from the English border, would recommend a visit to Holy Island, Bamburgh and Alnwick.
