This property is just about perfect! The location to the beach is a short walking distance, the condo decor is whimsical and eclectic and tastefully done. The place is very clean, well equipped and the owner has great communication. We'll definitely be returning.

The entire place was extremely clean, including the towels and linens. Parking was great, it’s literally under the front deck, couldn’t get any closer. Bob was awesome. The listing stated to get in touch with him on the day of arrival, but he actually reached out first to let us know about check in and several things to check out in the area during our stay.

This condo is fantastic! So fun to sit on the back porch to watch to marsh and the birds. The front porch has a great sitting area and gets a nice breeze. The condo is cozy and well appointed. It had everything we needed. We brought our dog with us, and it was a quick walk to the beach. He loved it! We enjoyed the pool, the beach and the cute town.

Upon checking it the nest thermostat was set to 77 on a 92 degree day. I lower to 70 and it’ should cool down. We turned on fan to circulate the air and stepped out, a couple hours later still 77. Stepped out again, 3 hours later still 77. I text owner Bob, instead of I’m sorry let me see what I can do he begins obsessing over us turning on the fan. We sleep through the night with no AC. Nest thermostat keeps powering down and giving error code. Next morning I research error code which most likely means system is stopped up due to a dirty filter and float switch triggered. I check filter and it’s filthy. I offer to buy a new one but Bob says his neighbor will bring one all the while still insisting the fan running for a few hours is what’s wrong. His neighbor comes over who is very nice and together discover system is stopped up. After using shop vac to clean it, it begins running again. 6 hours later still 77. I inform Bob he may need to send a professional to which he reply’s if the fan is problem we will pay. His neighbor told him fan wasn’t the issue I might add but he lied and said the opposite which I know because I spoke to his neighbor who totally put Bob on blast. We agree to check out and Bob says he’ll refund unused days, we make new plans to check out next day by noon and head to a new place. After all this the unit finally starts cooling 12 hours later. We had already made plans so we left. All good whatever, oh but then Bob tries to keep our money/refund

Carolina beach Condo

We loved our stay at Bob’s condo. The 2 porches allowed us to read and relax in the shade. The condo was comfortable , clean and well stocked.The access to Freeman Park beach was lovely for easy trips to the beach. We also enjoyed the proximity to Carolina State park for long, early-morning hikes with our dog. Carolina Beach has much to offer. The aquarium is close by, plus the ferry to Southport was a fun trip.
