Pelican's Loft: Steps from the beach access

This clean 2 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom condo has everything you need for a fun vacation at the beach!
100 STEPS to the beach access!

.3 to Sea Witch Restaurant, live music daily
.4 to the Carolina Beach boardwalk

Inside, we have 2 bedrooms on the top level, each with a full bathroom attached to the room. One bedroom has a queen bed and a stand-up shower. The second bedroom has two queen size STURDY, wood Queen bunks and a tub shower.

Downstairs on the main level is the living space. There is a large sectional couch, a half bathroom, and a kitchen with everything you need for cooking meals at home.

On the ground level is the one car garage (a car will fit or a small type of SUV) and the washer and dryer. There is also one designated spot right out front for street parking.

NEWLY updated outdoor shower is a delight, featuring solar lighting as well as hot and cold water.

There are 10 steps leading up to the 1st level. Then 10 steps to bedrooms.

** A starter of paper products are provided (1 roll paper towels & 2 rolls toilet paper in each bathroom), but may not be enough for your entire vacation/ duration of your stay. Please plan accordingly.

Great Location!

This was a great spot for a quick vacation. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go & the beach was a few steps away. Really loved the layout as well!

Perfect spot

This was the perfect spot for staying at the beach without technically staying on the bea ch. We were very close to the beach access, and it was perfect that the house had beach supplies for us to use.

Great spot!

Proximity to the beach was perfect! Beach chairs and beach wagon came in handy, plenty of room for everyone, kitchen had everything we needed to make great meals. We really enjoyed our stay- thank you!

Excellent location with great accomodations!

The location was great! Just a quick walk to the boardwalk and the beach right across the street! Having the pool was a nice touch also.

We regret that this guest chose to leave the property early. For clarity, the home was inspected during their stay and found to be safe, habitable, and exactly as described in the listing. There were no flooding or safety issues at the property or surrounding streets. VRBO reviewed the situation and confirmed that no refund was due. While weather can sometimes affect the beach experience, the property itself was in good condition, and we remain committed to addressing any concerns promptly for our guests. The sun even came out the next day ☀️

Pelicans Loft - Carolina Beach NC

Communication with Management was excellent-Quick responses- Location was great - Beach Chairs, Sunshade, Beach toys all available- Accommodations were as described- Very Clean. Lots of stairs (so be aware) - Parking limited to small or average size vehicles (street parking available but would not recommend with oversized vehicles-tight road passage). Overall - I would recommend the Pelican’s Loft.

Nice house, great location

Our stay was welcomed by great communication leading up to our arrival and throughout our stay. The house was kept very clean and had beach stuff for guest use. Unfortunately due to rain non-stop during the entire trip, some ants came in but the property owners left spray that helped mitigate the issue. They were very responsive in assisting with all questions we had. Each room had a smart TV which was ideal. We enjoyed movie nights, board games and the access to the beach (when it wasn't raining).Overall, we loved our stay and would book again in the future!

Weekend getaway

Close location to the beach and plenty of beach accessories to use which we really appreciated! Description and pictures of place are accurate. Close proximity to the boardwalk was nice. We had a slight problem that was quickly fixed the same day. Thank you for allowing us to stay!

Amazing place

This place was absolutely incredible only a couple minute walk to the beach enjoyed using the beach accessories that was available with the house. We was their the week of hurricane Debby so the board games came in handy. I definitely recommend this place for syre. Thank you so much

Amazing!!

The PERFECT location and a very comfortable spot!! The owners are so helpful and responsive, and although you are not "on the beach", the access is literally steps away! Nice side street that is quiet and so close to everything. I honestly considered not sharing our review so we could keep this gem to ourselves LOL - we had the great stay and will definitely return!!

Weren't Given the Chance to Check In

Check in is at 4pm. We arrived at the property at 4:15 with zero emails with codes on how to get keys. After speaking with an agent with VRBO, they attempted to call the owner and property manager 2 times before deciding they needed to cancel our reservation due to lack of response from owner. Only book this place if you want to panic about not having somewhere to stay after your long day of travel! Thank goodness we decided at last minute to rent a car, and not get dropped off by a taxi. Of course everywhere in town was sold out, and this completely ruined our vacation.
