This quintessential Cape Cod Cottage is just a short walk down a quiet sandy road to a private Association Beach. The 3 bedroom, ranch style home with updated bathroom is the perfect spot to relax after a sunny, beach filled day.

The house includes a fully stocked kitchen and family room with flat screen TV/DVD/Blu Ray player/Cable and Wireless Internet. The sliding glass doors open up to a sunny deck and let the natural light pour into the home. 3 Bedrooms including 2 with Queen beds and oversized 3rd bedroom that includes 3 twin beds. Guests need to provide their own linens (sheets and towels are NOT provided)

The outside space includes a private back yard, a deck with picnic table to enjoy al fresco dining, several Adirondack chairs around the fire pit to sit and enjoy the starry night, as well as both a gas and a charcoal grill. Unwind in the large updated outdoor shower to rinse off when you return from the beach. Washer and dryer included in basement. Complimentary wagons provided to bring your beach chairs, coolers, and sand toys to the beach.

If you prefer a day at the ocean, The National Seashore is just a short 5 minute drive. Plenty to do to keep busy in the area including restaurants, a step back in time at the Drive-in Theatre, mini golf, hiking, biking on the Cape Cod Rail Trail, bird watching, golfing, and shopping. Everything you need is close at hand yet far enough away to get lost in Cape Cod.

Great family week

Was exactly as listed. Quiet, private, spacious. Enjoyed the hammock and fire pit and the beach. Read Cape Cod by Thoreau from the book shelf.

We had a wonderful week away at this cottage. The open plan of the cottage was great, small yet comfortable for our family of 3 and our large pup. We wished our oldest and his partner could have joined as the space would have been perfect for us all. Communication was a breeze with Sarah and the walk to the association beach was at most 5 mins, and lovely; down a sandy lane and perfect for toting kids. And the low tides!!! Evenings around the fire pit and grilling outside were relaxing and fun. Washer/dryer in the basement were great, our only recommendation would be a new set of cooking knives for the kitchen as the ones available were very dull and we cooked at home a lot, but that was not the end of the world by any means. We hope to return soon!!

Great Stay

We loved staying in this great cottage! Even nicer than the pictures and a short walk to the ocean. Very clean and well equipped! Loved the outdoor shower and fire pit! Had a lovely stay and only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend!

Delightful family vacation!

We loved this quiet, tucked away home on a dirt road! Close enough to walk to private Beach on the bay side. Out little ones loved exploring and digging during low tide and swimming during high tide. Great star gazing at night. Highly recommend to anyone looking to relax and unwind. We hope to come again!

Ideal in Every Way!

We loved this adorable, well-appointed cottage and it’s easy access to a beautiful bayside private beach, where the sunsets were next level! The outdoor shower was the best (our friend took pics, so she can build her own). Our host, Sarah, was so helpful and communicative, and we felt very looked after. We will no doubt be back!

Cozy beach cottage

This was the cutest beach cottage! It's on a quiet, private lane, a quarter mile walk from the beach, and perfectly situated to explore the National Seashore beaches. The house is cozy and super inviting. Even though there is only one bathroom, there is a great outdoor shower. The yard and gardens are beautiful, complete with fairy lights at night. We loved our stay and would love to come back sometime!

Nice vacation

Very nice time in a classic cape cottage. Short walk to beach which was nice during day and beautiful at sunset. Outdoor shower is really great. Sarah was easy to work with.

Super cute cottage!

This house was perfect for our family and pets! We vacation in Eastham every other year with our extended family and it was a great location, near the beach, and dog friendly. The outdoor shower and garden were an added bonus. Sarah was also a great host!

Great quiet family beach getaway place

Had a great stay here. House is on a private, quiet road with access to a private beach less than 1/4 mile away. House is dog friendly and has full kitchen, 3 bedrooms, bathroom and outdoor shower. There is also a fire pit with chairs, small deck with couch, lounge chairs and picnic table. There is also washer/dryer and beach equipment in basement with storage for your bicycles. We rode our bikes to a nearby ice cream spot that isn't very busy (The Landing) and you can ride to the CC Rail Trail about 1.5 miles from house. Everything is as advertised and we would definitely come back again.

Cute cottage

This property was so cute! Bigger plot and bigger house than I thought. Directions for the keys was easy to follow. Finding the house was pretty easy, until the end our gps told us we arrived 2 houses before we actually did. The only downside was the listing said there was air conditioning and there actually wasn’t. We had a great time, and the cottage was perfect for us.

Lovely and welcoming cottage

We stayed with our 3 young children and had a wonderful time in this house. Its fully equipped with everything you need and a 5 minute walk to a private bay beach. We loved that it was so quiet and had a nice big yard for running around. Its close to get to anyplace you need. It was very relaxing and quiet. The owner was very available and accommodating. Our only regret was wishing we had stayed longer!

Loved this cottage

Our family of 5 plus dogs loved our stay at this cute cottage. The place was very clean, and many little amenities provided were much appreciated; from basic kitchen supplies and Keurig to wood for the fire pit. The 5 minute walk on a sandy camp road to the beach was easy, and having use of an association beach area was really nice. We could walk the dogs there before 9:00 and after 6:00. The house is in a great location, easy access to bay and ocean beaches, as well as the bike trail. Very quiet space and quite private. No noise at night except for the crickets. We felt right at home.

perfect cosy cottage for a Cape stay

Sarah was great to deal with and the cottage is even nicer in person than in the pics. Amazing quiet beach is a very close walk away. Nice to have large capacity laundry onsite with our big group. We had to travel light so it was handy to be able to do some wash. All the extra toys, wagons, chairs, etc are provided so we didn't have to pack those either. Very pretty yard where we got to watch the hummingbirds and other wildlife over morning coffees. Outdoor shower is excellent! It's def a 4.5 stay, but VRBO doesn't allow for halves;) We did not have the best weather so spent more time indoors than planned -- for 6 adults the main living area is a bit tight. Also the outdoor eating area is just one picnic table, which is a bit tight for 6 adults. These factors are the only reason I hesitate to rate it full 5-stars. If you are 7 adults (which we almost were) I would not recommend. For 4 or 5 people, it would be awesome!

Perfect location

We rented this house for a week in August, 2020. Host was super responsive and flexible. House was very clean and perfect for our needs. Also, I stay in rentals quite a bit, in places all over the world, and what make this one super cool is that they actually have things there that you need. We had dish soap (we did buy and leave more), spices and all other necessities. It’s nice to not have to bring or buy those things. As a result, the things we bought that could be re-used, we left (hand soap, dish soap, olive oil, hand towel...you get the drift). There are tons of things in the basement for use if you’d like. Wagons, bicycles, corn hole game and boards for the beach as well as chairs etc. The outside area is very cute with solar lights all over the property. The beds were extremely comfortable and there is A/C is two of the three bedrooms. Outdoor shower is amazing. I really can’t recommend the place any more. Very short walk to the beach . Rent it. You’ll love it.

Charming Cape Cod Cottage

My family and I so loved this cottage. The location was perfect- secluded on a quiet street with only a 5 minute walk down a sandy path to a private association beach. The owner has done a lovely job of decorating the inside of the cottage. Every room has some special decorative touch. It’s classic Cape Cod charm. The outside of the house is beautifully landscaped. There is a pretty flower garden area in the front of the house with benches and a trellis. I enjoyed watching the birds (I even saw a hummingbird) and butterflies in their natural habitat. There are pretty painted rocks and seashells that surround the garden area and the house. It was so peaceful and serene sitting outside enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The yard is huge and my daughters loved running around and kicking their soccer ball. There is a cute swing attached to a tree and two hammocks. The yard is mostly shaded because of the many surrounding trees. We enjoyed sitting outside and feeling the breeze from the trees. At night, we enjoyed looking at all of the stars in the sky. We loved our stay at this cottage. All of the attention to detail make this place feel so special. It’s not just some generic rental property. The owner, Sarah, was incredibly responsive to all of my pre-trip questions. She even checked in with me the day of my arrival to make sure I had her contact info in case I needed anything. Due to COVID travel restrictions, we had to jump through some hoops to make this trip happen but it was so worth it. Thank you to Sarah for sharing her lovely beach house with us! It was truly like living in a peaceful oasis.

Perfect vacation

First of all, spotless home! Beautiful bathroom. Beds are amazing. There was six of us, two parents, and 4-19 and 20 year olds. Pictures of home are spot on. House has circular seashell driveway, no house to left or right, on a sand/dirt private road, only traffic was people who live on street. Plenty of room for all of us, great tv, kitchen area, and tv in twin bedroom, nice pillows and blankets. Two a/c, and 3 strong fans, was there over the 4th week, super hot, but kept the a/c on and fans and cooled off house just fine. I packed a lot of stuff like flashlights and extension cords, lighter, but I didn't need them as the house was well equipped, two kinds of coffee makers, drip and k-cup. The only item not here was a blender, we made due. Outside shower to die for, no one wanted to use the inside one, which is brand new and spotless. Huge new washer and dryer in basement, nice to wash towels everyday. Huge backyard, and hammock, great gas grill, and charcoal we did not use. Side deck with picnic table we used for most dinners, outside fire pit, plenty of lawn chairs. Such a cute, well cared for clean, spotless house! 5 min walk to beautiful, no seaweed or rocks sandy bayside beach, lots of stairs to go down, but worth it. Tide goes out pretty far, watch the tide charts, but water is extremely warm, it is a private beach with lots of young families who were super friendly. Owners provided two wagons to cart beach stuff, Bring beach floats and float your cares away. It was really nice, as the kids like the waves at coast guard,(5min drive) but the water is freezing, we did coast guard in the am, and the beach near us in the afternoons. Just a slice of heaven. Not many places that have beach access, extremely clean with comfy beds. ALREADY booked next year but for two weeks. Love love this little gem. Very good communication, we lost power because of transformer, not because of house for about 1/2 hour, got a text right away making sure we were okay from owners. Thanks so much for renting to us!
