Experience the perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm at our cozy cabin, which comfortably sleeps 4 and is nestled right at the water's edge. Designed for relaxation and fun in a peaceful setting, this retreat offers direct access to a full sandy beach and the stunning waters of Lake George. To your right, a swimming dock awaits, while a majestic willow tree provides shade and your own bonfire pit invites evening gatherings.

The cabin features cable TV and free WiFi, and includes a full-sized stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and all essential cooking utensils. We provide all bed linens, so just bring your food and towels.

Enjoy complimentary use of 6 kayaks and a paddle board. Kids will love the huge play scape and 2 swing sets, while everyone can have fun with volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, and ping pong. Set on 2.5 acres with 500 feet of Lake George frontage, you'll relish the privacy and tranquility, yet be only 5 miles from West Branch.

Explore nearby activities such as canoeing on the Rifle River, visiting the Ogemaw County Fairgrounds, ORV trails, and excellent golf courses. West Branch offers a theater, diverse shopping and dining options, and a beautiful park with basketball and tennis courts, a large play scape, and paved pathways. Peaceful relaxation

Found this place by coincidence not particularly looking for it but wanted a relaxing weekend away. I GOT JUST THAT! Carin is a wonderful host always making sure you are having a good time. Nightly bonfires by the lake make it even more relaxing. Wheather you want to stay for a week or just a weekend I would highly recomend this place to anyone and will definitely be coming back.

Great place for a fun family trip

First, Carin’s hospitality was wonderful. She is warm and welcoming, and she made us feel a part of her family. and; Second, the cute little cabin was comfortable and clean. It has all of the accoutrements needed for a relaxing vacation. I highly recommend this place for family vacations

Carin is the best host ever!!

The cabins were really clean and very cute. She had everything you could think of to keep you busy. Paddle boats. rowboats paddle boards and a couple of kayaks. My husband and I enjoyed our quiet time. I would highly recommend it for a couple or a family.

Carin Sturm purchased this property 20 years ago and was originally from Union Lake (Commerce Twp) Michigan. I love living on the water and Lake George is the perfect sized all sports lake-not too big and not too small. My home sits next to the cabins and I am located at the end of the road so there is no traffic noise-just wonderful peace and quiet. I have 3 sons and 4 beautiful grand daughters and they all live about 2 hours away. They love to visit here and enjoy the lake and people who stay here. We enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. It is very rewarding to be able to keep the cabins clean and well appointed so our guests can be comfortable and just sit and relax.

Why they chose this property

Lake George and the town of West Branch offer some unique opportunities that makes my life very full and rewarding. I love to make my guests feel at home and it makes my heart smile "real big" when I see families laughing, playing, boating, swimming and doing all the old fashioned activities that bring so much pleasure. The air is so clean and fresh here and the night skies are brilliant with stars that are easily seen clearly. Fishing is great on the lake and we have 3 docks so anyone can bring a boat and dock it here too. It would be my pleasure to welcome you into the Lake George family.

What makes this property unique

You can sit at your picnic table and enjoy your meals or play games right in front of your cabin as you listen to the water lap the shore and the breeze move through the willow trees. The birds happily sing and welcome you to join in the song of joy. At night you can sit around your bonfire and gaze at the stars. The lake becomes very calm at night reflecting the moon on it's journey across the sky. Early morning as the sun rises over the lake you can enjoy your coffee sitting on the bench on the dock-a great way to start a day. To totally relax and unwind you really do need to get away from your everyday routine and surroundings and this is a perfect place to do that.
