About this property

Remote and Rural Traditional Croft house overlooking Loch Ness

Traditional Croft overlooking Loch Ness
Lairgmore Croft was built in 1880 and is sitting in one of the finest location on the hillside overlooking Loch Ness and offers panoramic views to the Loch and across the water to Aldourie Castle. Loch Ness itself is iconic and the surrounding area combines the rough beauty and timeless enchantment of the Scottish Highlands. The Croft provides two feature fireplaces which gives the cottage a cosy and homely feeling especially on rainy days.
The Croft is offering modern open plan fully equipped kitchen/diner with an inset wood burning stove. Across the hall is a cosy living room with corner sofa, TV/DVD and original open fireplace. Downstairs is also a double bedroom with double wardrobe and French doors leading to the rear garden. Next to the downstairs bedroom is a modern family bathroom suite with walk in shower and corner water jet bath. The staircase from the hallway leads up to one double and one single bedroom with front facing windows for a superb view.
Washing machine and tumble dryer a located in a separate laundry outbuilding on the side of the Croft House which is shared by host. The Croft has its own access, and terrace leads to a laid to lawn garden with those views towards Loch Ness. At side is a bench and table. In front of the house is a separate parking space for 2/3 cars. Electric charging point Type 2 -7kW AC is available on the hosts side of the property.
We live right next door with our dogs in the modern extension to the original Croft house and will be available to assist with anything during the stay. We have our own separate entrance and parking area so each part of the house has its privacy.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
