Beautiful cabin style home backing up on the White River!

Situated in a beautiful valley, this cozy cabin backs up on the White River at the point across from the spectacular Handford Bluff. The cabin has a fully accommodated kitchen and laundry room for longer stays. The cedar wrapped, 40 foot back porch is screened and has four ceiling fans for your comfort in the summer and a small unscreened area with a charcoal grill. There is a fire pit in the back yard.

Inside, there is streaming, fiber optic Wi-Fi and DVR available.

Whether you are coming to Mountain View for the folk music and Ozark folk culture, or you are just looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway with a variety of recreation options nearby, this could be the place for you. There is a stairway behind the cabin providing easy access to the river for fishing or other water related activities. There is a good place on the rocky beach area behind the cabin to put a Kayak into the water if you would like to make the beautiful, approximately 2 or 3 hour float from the cabin to Guion public boat access.

The cabin accomidates 6 guests and there is an additional fee for any approved extra guests.

We were wanting a great place to meet up and enjoy each other!! This cabin was so very peaceful and relaxing((( couple with 2 month old, friend with twenager, and couple of empty nesters))) was just the place to help us all enjoy time together while having the river at our back door!

This charming cabin was very well stocked, beautifully decorated and comfortable. Best access to the river of any we've rented. The only downfall was the very rough road and long distance from town. If you want a place to really get away from it all, this is the place.

We loved our stay in Mountain View. The cabin was perfect! It was clean, well stocked with loads of towels and blankets, plenty of dishes, and the Adirondack chairs for outside was a nice thing to have for the campfires. The directions for getting to the cabin were detailed and helpful. It's off the beaten path, but that's what we loved. We LOVED it!

Our stay was great. Fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towel's, blankets etc.... would have been easier to find in the dark if the signage was lite up. GPS had us going past the cabin so when we couldn't see the number 210 we were confused. But love it otherwise.

The house was very nice. Very clean and comfy. Big open area in the front for yard games. Fire pit in the back and easy access to the water. Beautiful screened porch was nice! The owner was easy to reach and he went above and beyond when we left items behind to return them to us.

Beautiful cabin, great location

It seemed like we were never going to get there, but that’s what we were looking for. Once we did, it was gorgeous. We arrived after dark and the night sky was amazing. Then when the sun came up, we saw the river and the mountains. Our granddaughter caught 14 trout. She loved it and so did we!

Our favorite!

This was our 8th family vacation to MtView and our second stay at this cabin! This year we rented both cabins, as we had extended family coming along. It's by far our favorite location. This spot on the river is perfect for fishing! We rented boats, limited out daily, and had a great time. We enjoy local restaurant favorites, but also love cooking together. The tables are perfect for card games! The back porch makes the ideal setting for a morning cup of coffee. I can't love it enough!
