This original Mission Beach cottage is located just 1 block to the main strip of Old Mission Beach. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars & pubs within a 5 minute walking distance.

Property comes fully furnished with plenty of linen & towels, Full kitchen with pots, pans, plates, utensils, microwave, coffee maker, stove, oven, a BBQ for every unit, flatscreen TV in living room and bedroom with 2 Amazon firesticks and digital AT&T cable, free high speed WIFI Internet with a Mesh Wifi 6 Netgear ORBI with 2 satellites and 1 GBPS rewired Fiber Internet. A front dutch door in every unit in case you would like fresh warm moist air. A large patio overlooking the ocean with shower to rinse off after a refreshing surf session or swim. Plus lots of seating inside and outside.

NO AIR CONDITIONING.

Lots of beach toys and games for the children:
sand castle building items, Frisbee, smash ball, beach chairs, footballs, boogie boards etc.

Airport and Downtown is just 10 minutes away. La Jolla is just 1.5 miles away, an easy bike ride up the coast! Pacific Beach is just 1/2 mile north and Ocean Beach is about 2 miles south.

Public bus stop is 1 block away on the main street- Mission Blvd.

Extremely close to all restaurants, shops, bike rentals, surfboard rentals, pair sailing, jet skis, etc.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please start a load of towels, top sheets, fitted sheets, pillow cases, floor mats in the Washer on the west side of the building. Laundry soap is under the sink.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great location and neighborhood

The central section of Mission Beach is great for families and rentals, the crowds are small at the beach and all the rentals are so close to beach. We loved the patio that was large and looked right out to the water. The unit is a bit dated but we don't care about that, it's about being 25' from the sand. Will definitely stay again.

My girlfriend’s family rented a place directly across the walkway from this place so it worked out perfectly. It was a great friends and family vacation! Would stay here again!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

We absolutely loved our time at the cozy beach property! Location was impeccable. Home was perfect for our needs and the large patio made it amazing to enjoy the weather while still enjoying the beach views. 10/10 recommend !

Cute little place!

Cute little place for our family of 5. Great location. Kids all slept in living room on the pull outs. The property itself needs some upgrades but overall it was a nice place to stay!

Quick beach trip

Everything was exactly as described. Great ocean view from patio. Literally a few steps to the sand. Had all the basics needed. The parking was a bit tight but i do believe that is even mentioned in the ad so we were prepared. We could not back our Durango all the way in otherwise we could not open the doors so we just put over half of the vehicle in the garage, enough to not be in the way of others.

Beautiful view, area, surroundings. I always take my own linen, towels. Family member used a guest towel which had a sour smell to it ( sometimes towels get old and should be thrown away). We forgot to pack two bags of laundry that we had outside. By the time we got back to get the bags they had been emptied out on the table and our linens/towels were gone. Not really a big deal but I am hoping that the establishment did not think we were trying to take their belongings because we brought these from home. We had the windows open the whole time we were there, would leave them slightly open towards night as the ocean breeze gets beautifully chilly. It is during the night when the windows are closed more it seems to gather up a not so clean fresh smell inside. By the third night I could not sleep in the room because I kept smelling an awful smell like garbage. The only thing I could think of was perhaps the garbage cans that are on the bottom maybe that smell would come up. Other than the smell coming up to the bedroom and the stuffiness of the bedroom enhancing that odor everything was very nice and very comfortable.

Exactly as advertised

It is a small little cottage right by the water. It was just big enough for my family, but I think we will have to find something bigger next year since our kids probably won’t all fit on the couch again. But we loved our stay.

Relaxation on Mission Beach

The stay was awesome! Nice cozy cottage with a great location and view within walking distance of many shops, bars and restaurants! First time not staying in a hotel and it was great! Will definitely look to stay in this area again! Met Sarina several times, awesome lady!
