About this property

4 Bedroom House at Hampton Beach

This 4 bedroom house is located just a block from the beach on a quiet dead end street (Perkins Avenue) in the heart of Hampton Beach. The house offers a wonderful year round heated front porch, 4 bedrooms, an updated bathroom, spacious kitchen and living room, plenty of parking for 4 cars, a wonderful back deck and a private yard. There is free wifi and a TV with basic cable. The house has two window air conditioning units and ceiling fans. There is a washer and dryer for clothes and dishwasher in the kitchen.

Two of the bedrooms feature queen size beds. One bedroom has a pair of twin beds and one bedroom has bunks beds with two twin size mattresses. The front porch offers a dining table and futon for comfortable lounging. The deck is the perfect place to relax, grill and eat outside while the private yard provides some extra space for everyone. You could sleep 10 if you used the futon or the mattresses pulled out from under the bunk beds.

Please note that this house does not have housekeeping services. We expect our renters to leave the house as they found it. This means sweeping / vacuuming the sand off the floors, emptying the refrigerator and wiping down the countertops and bathroom. There are plenty of pillows and comforters for you to use but you will need to bring your own linens. This is a wonderful summer house that is large enough to accompany a big family or perhaps two families. If you are a respectful group that will treat our house with respect and leave it as you found it, we would love to have you come enjoy it.

All cancellations will include a $30 processing fee.

great location!

We had a wonderful time at the property. Few hiccups however, the hosts were quick to respond and come to the rescue. The place was a great layout for our family, We had my parents and my college kids stay with us. It was family weekend at UNH. (wish the people before us had cleaned a little better). All good size bedrooms, nice open living space, a very short walk to all the shops, beaches and restaurant. Would stay again for sure!

Great parking easy house to get your things in and out

Our family and friends had a wonderful time. The house was clean and open enough space for everyone to move around.The walk to the beach not bad. I would suggest a wagon for this walk. Overall very great time had bye all I would book this house again.

Hampton Beach Cottage

The cottage was perfect for our overnight stay! It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located near the beach and the strip. The owners were great with communication and very accommodating!

Perfect Location

2 night stay

The property was a lot bigger than expected. For the price the place was well worth it. Short walk up to the beach and boardwalk. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch. The home also has an outdoor shower. The property had a washer and dryer which allowed us to wash things as needed. The property managers were quick to respond when we had a question and were always polite. For this rental you need to bring all sheets for the beds and towels. Cleaning afterwards is guests responsibility. Which we were 100% okay with but for others this may not be ideal. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you to our host.

Needing some fixing

There was a few things that were in need of attention, cleanliness was one of them. As this rental was a clean up after yourself, the last renters didn’t clean at all… there were missing piece off the bathroom floor, the couch had stains on it and stuck candy, there was garbage in between the cushions, under the beds. The paint on the cupboards were bubbled and peeling, the washer and dryer didn’t work properly… other than that it was in a good location

Location & parking

The location is ideal for our needs. We have family that stay in/around this street and our meet up spot at the beach is J st. So it’s easy to get to. The parking is huge fir us as we have transient guests that visit. The little backyard is convenient for the entertaining the little ones. Downside to not paying a cleaning fee, you might come into a dirty rental…which we did. We spent about an hour cleaning up as the house was not left in great condition, specifically the bathroom.

Not what I expected

The house was not what I was expecting there were holes that were just patched up and not re painted the grass was so tall I had a hard time walking through it. It has one small window ac for the whole house and it barley worked and wasn’t put in right it was extremely hot in the house. The house wasn’t really cleaned when we went in. Some stuff was left in the fridge. For the amount of money being charged I felt like I could of went somewhere else or gotten a hotel for cheaper that the up keep would of been better. The house felt more like it was a party house then anything and I used this house for my family.

“No cleaning services “! These hosts mean it!

The property was filthy! Had spend an hour and a half cleaning& sanitizing! Yard wasn’t mowed, and over grown! Didn’t even use one of the bedrooms! Not many instructions left how to work things. Could only contact by email. We checked out 8/28/21 supposed to be by 11. We were cleaning and packing, next renters came from NY at 11:30 and parked at end of driveway (check in supposedly after 1) we had to ask them to move at 12 so we could leave! Then I get a message from the host stating the place was left a mess! My twins are T1D( use insulin), didn’t know they left a needle and supposedly a “prescription bottle” was accused of host of doing drugs inhis house!! I brought my 75 year old mother and 4 kids!!! We use medicine! I’ve tried to have John the owner call me to discuss and she me proof to no avail!!! I’ve sent multiple photos of a clean beach house! Cleaner than when we found it!! Will not rent from them again and recommend no one else to!!! We did have a great week and this was disgusting and wrecked it!!

Great Location - Mediocre Home

You could clearly tell the owners have not been renting this out for long. As with everything, there are the good and the bad. Lets start with the good: 1. GREAT location. Within walking distance to the main strip and comes with a driveway with plenty of parking. 2. Great back deck (not yard). Had a nice patio set and charcoal grill available to use. 3. Plenty of space for people. 4. Good wifi service Now for the bad: 1. The home was not very clean. You must bring your own linens and towels as well. They want you to wipe down everything, sweep and vacuum, but don't give the place to you in that manor. 2. Bathroom sink was clogged. We told them about it the day we arrived. No response, never fixed. Had to use kitchen sink for everything from washing dishes to brushing teeth. 3. The website description was not all that correct. Completely remodeled bathroom - makes it sound like a great new bathroom. When we got there, the glass shower walls were filthy as well as the rest of the bathroom. The yard is not private, but connected to the neighbors with no complete fenced in (maybe why they don't provide pictures) 4. Some lights did not work. Had to figure out where circuit breaker was and fix. 5. Limited supply of toilet paper (one roll for a 4 BR house meant for 6+ people). Also, one garbage bag. I have stayed in many rentals and typically little things like this were stocked. Just stinks to have to go out of the way for things like that. Overall the home was decent for the 2 days we were there, but will definitely look elsewhere in the future.
