A beautiful stone-built Grade ll Listed Corn Barn conversion, with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams. The Corn Barn is one of four cottages at East Trenean Farm, offering high quality comfortable accommodation, with modern facilities. The four-bedroom cottage is ideal for families and friends, with the added luxury of a hot tub and private garden. A place to relax in a ‘get away from it all' location, yet only 3 miles from the fishing town of Looe and its beach.

Corn Barn is a beautiful two storey cottage with original features including thick stone walls and exposed wooden beams. There are oak floors, doors and it is furnished with a mix of antique and contemporary furniture, rugs, paintings and wall art. The cottage has BT Fast Broadband with an Open Mesh Wi-Fi network. The cottage is non-smoking.

The spacious bedrooms on the lower ground floor all have double beds that can be split into two single beds and arranged as twin rooms. All bedrooms have a chest of draws, mirror, bedside tables with lamps and a hair dryer. There is a very large built-in wardrobe for the use of all the bedrooms in the lower hallway with hanging rails and shelving. Bedroom 1 has a super-king bed and an en-suite shower room, a wardrobe, a Freeview T.V. and glazed doors that lead out into the courtyard garden. Bedroom two a king-sized bed and glazed doors out to the furnished patio area in the courtyard garden, a perfect spot for a morning coffee! Bedroom three has a super-king bed, a further wardrobe and door leading out into the courtyard. Bedroom 4 has a super-king bed. Towels and linen are included.

The bathroom is fitted with WC, washbasin, a large shower cubicle, bath and a heated towel rail.

The living areas on the upper ground floor enjoy views across the open countryside and access to the private garden. The modern kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need and includes the added luxury of an espresso coffee machine. There is also an electric range oven and hob, an American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, electric blender and whisk and a breakfast bar with stools. Tea towels and oven gloves are provided. The separate utility room has a washing machine, iron and ironing board with a door to a separate WC.

The lounge is comfortably furnished with sofas and chairs, coffee table and has a flat screen Freeview TV with streaming stick and DVD player. There is also a Wii game console with a selection of games. The room has a feature wood burning stove for those cosy evenings in and a dining area with table and chairs. There is a door leading out to the private garden. A selection of board games, puzzles, DVDs and books are provided in the cottage, for the enjoyment of our guests during their stay. There is a DAB FM radio with blue tooth speaker so you can connect your mobile devices and listen to your own music.

Families are welcomed and our cottage is suitable for children. For those with babies and toddlers on request we can provide items for during your stay which include a travel cot, highchair and stair gates, so to lighten the load when packing! On the paddock field we have play equipment for our families to enjoy including a range of swings with a baby seat, a ‘ship' climbing frame with a play cabin below and a wave slide, football goals and plenty of grass to run around on or even play cricket and have a picnic! Our hens are free range, enjoying the gardens and fields, and provide eggs for our welcome baskets. Our young visitors (and grown-ups) are welcome to help ‘call in' and feed the hens with corn each evening.

The private garden has lawn and beds stocked with perennials and flowering shrubs, a picnic bench with parasol, as well as a charcoal BBQ. A perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee or to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine with a glass of wine! The large 8-seater hot tub covered with a wooden gazebo is situated in the farm grounds, with fabulous views down the wooded valley to the sea beyond. Gowns are provided for the short stroll. It's a perfect place to relax - maybe after a day walking, exploring or surfing. We do ask that you bring your own swimming towels.

We use environmentally friendly cleaning products at East Trenean Farm and look after our gardens and land in a way as to protect wildlife. Our tap water comes from our own spring-fed borehole, which is filtered, and UV treated. So, no need to buy bottled water while here, our spring water is on tap!

Our guest car park has EV charging points for each cottage and storage for guest equipment such as bikes and kayaks.
The farm fields are grazed by sheep, so sorry, no dogs.

There is horse riding and trekking locally in the beautiful Cornish countryside. For cyclists there are tracks suitable for all levels nearby and trails in the Camel and Tamar Valleys. Looe Golf course is less than a mile away with spectacular views.

For walkers there is the extensive and dramatic SW Coastal path with dramatic cliff top views and secluded coves to discover. Fantastic Family Holiday
We had a fantastic stay in The Corn Barn and will definitely return. The house was spotlessly clean and had everything anybody could ever need, and more. The beds were very comfy and we all slept very well. The Hot Tub was used every day, there's nothing better than relaxing in it with a cold glass of wine and stunning views over the countryside! Our children loved the park, and our 10 year old enjoyed the freedom of being allowed to 'pop over' to it whenever she wanted! Thank you Graham and Jane for allowing us to share your lovely property, and being such amazing hosts!

A lovely weekend escape
The Corn Barn is a beautiful place. We stayed as a group of 8 (6 adults and 2 toddlers). The cottage was spotless and spacious and had everything we could need. The living quarters are above the bedrooms which came as a small surprise! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were really comfortable. Kitchen and dining areas are really well equipped and we had everything that we needed. We made some special requests which were all taken care of ahead of time (cots, high chairs and a stair gate). We had use of the hottub during our stay and this was a highlight! Really spacious and sheltered with nice views of the rolling hills. The hottub is set a little away from the cottage so it does require a short walk which we weren't expecting but didn't really mind. There was free parking on site (inc EV points) and it is a short drive to all the local places of interest. Some nice touches: Fully stocked kids cupboard full of toys and games, childrens books etc. TV included netflix and a Nintendo Wii console. Childrens play area A lovely welcome hamper on our arrival. Our only small gripe was the check in and check out times which at 5pm and 9.30am, respectively felt a little restrictive (Graham was able to extend our check out time by an hour which we were pleased about). Overall, an excellent stay and a place we would highly recommend.

Absolutely stunning place and location!
As a big group of 8 (4 couples), we stayed in the Corn barn for our stay and i was absolutely blown away from the moment i arrived. The building was lovely and really well equipped with everything you need for your stay, even down to the little things! Hosts were lovely and just left us to it once we settled which we liked, and the location was perfect as a base for exploring Looe, Newquay, Plymouth and more! The Hot tub was a bonus aswell, our favourite spot on the evenings. I would definitely go back! Thanks so much for having us.
