Open concept living/kitchen area condo is great for a small group of travelers. The condo is a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath with a pull out couch. Stroll down to a beautiful sandy beach which is 1 block walking distance. The view from the balcony/deck is a beautiful pool that is cleaned daily. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, bike rentals, and miniature golf within walking distance. You can bike to the lighthouse or to the bay and amusement parks. The island is very casual so enjoy being relaxed or get dressed up for a night on the town.

My daughters and I had a great vacation. We walked every morning for coffee and loved that Shop Bottom Ice Cream was right there, just across the street. Great location, unit was clean, thoughtful to have beach tags for us to use and Larry, who oversees the property, was so welcoming and helpful! All the locals were great and we will definitely be returning!

Wonderful Vacation

The condo is beautiful and is in a great location! It was walkable to the nail salon, several restaurants and bars, the candy store, and ice cream shops. The accommodations were spacious, even for our family of 5. We appreciated the fact that beach chairs and beach badges were available to us during our stay. My family had a wonderful vacation here!

Early summer get away

Lovely apartment, with well thought out accommodations for the beach-extra hooks in bedrooms and baths, a locker for their and our beach gear. Everything we needed was provided for cooking and relaxing. Best that people are fit to climb the stairs to the third floor. Other occupants were friendly. Pool and property well maintained just like the apartment. We would absolutely stay again!

Nice condo in a walkable location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner sent check-in/general property information a few weeks before our stay, which was helpful. The building is secure and located close to beach access and several restaurants/activities. The condo itself is roomy and comfortable with very little noise from the other units. The balcony overlooks the pool and faces the bay for nice sunsets. The closet for beach items was useful. Would stay again!

Great spacious condo

We really enjoyed our stay here. The condo was very clean and cozy! Plenty of space for our family of 4 and the grandparents. The kids loved putting the code in for the keyless entry. This third floor Unit had a nice view of the pool where their grandparents would sit to watch us swim. The beach is only a short walk. The only downside was having to cross the busy Blvd. Loved having the washer and dryer right in the unit. Thank you for a great week with our family!

Great Week

We had a great week staying at Andrea's condo. Everything was exactly as stated in write-up. The pool was an added bonus for our family since being on the beach with toddlers is a lot of work. Perfect location, one block from ocean and a few from the bay, with playground. Had one issue with the cable but one quick text to Andrea and it was taken care of. Condo is on the 3rd Floor so it was a little hard with toddlers but nothing we couldn't handle. Would definitely stay again.

Property was great! Pros: Location Property Manager’s Communication Clean Beach Passes Pool Access Kids and parents both had a great time. Cons: And these aren’t that big of a deal. More nuisances than deal breakers: Hot water heater is a bit small Gravel lot (which are everywhere on the island) can be tough to carry luggage over. We would absolutely rent this place again. My husband, teenage daughter, and I were in town for a Habitat build and wanted to stay near the beach. The condo was clean and the maintenance person was quick to respond when we had an issue. Close to everything. Items to note- the bathroom is not attached to the primary bedroom. It’s in the hallway. And they do supply dishes.

You won’t be disappointed

First, the pictures of the condo really do not do it justice. This place is lovely and very well maintained. We enjoyed the proximity to dining and shopping. It was just a short walk to the ocean or the bay. It’s a quiet street with little traffic which is ideal for walking or biking. The pool is crystal clear and well maintained. The water was cold as it is early in the season but looked delightful just the same. The balcony is the perfect size for enjoying a drink and people watching. The property is beautifully landscaped and also well maintained. The only down side, which we knew of in advance as it’s in the listing, is that it’s a third floor walk up - no elevator. Enjoy some of the best seafood, ice cream, and fresh bagels just steps from the condo. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Great week

Andrea’s place was great. Location perfect. Clean condo and had everything we needed. Pool maintenance is impeccable, but it became annoying that the gentleman maintained it during open hours and continually each day. He huffed and puffed when my 18 year old would dip in (and say it makes it that much harder). He was literally out there each hour of every day and even closed it to scrub the walls in the middle of the afternoon. Gave us the feeling he didn’t like sharing with renters. Besides that, this was the perfect beach vacation for my family. We rented in this complex before (11 years ago) and we were happy to see another condo being rented. It’s all about location and price for us. This was 5 stars for those two things.

Very clean, updated, beautifully decorated, nicely furnished, well equipped, comfortable condo in a nice, quiet building with friendly residents (most units are not rentals) in a good location. Keyless entry was a bonus as well.Quality appliances and extra 1/2 bath made for a convenient stay. Gorgeous shower. Kitchen had everything we needed- regular coffee pot (in addition to the Keurig) blender, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, baking sheet, pots, pans, Pyrex with lids for food storage, ice maker, kitchen towels, cleaning supplies, dish detergent. Also a vacuum, fans, extra blankets & pillows, bath mats, books & games for older kids/ adults. 2 beach chairs, beach umbrella and beach tags! Its stocked with all the essentials you might need for your stay in case you forgot to pack something. To note: It is on the 3rd floor, so all luggage, groceries, beach items must be carried up 2 flights of rather narrow exterior stairs to the beach closet and condo on 3rd floor. This was fine for us, but may not be ideal for those traveling with babies, elderly, disabled or those with balance or mobility issues or fear of heights (narrow 3rd floor balcony overlooks the pool) so just want to point that out. Pool is clean and well maintained, and was never crowded. WiFi was good. Large TV’s connected to our own subscriptions (Netflix & Disney). All in all, this is likely the best beach condo we’ve ever rented and Ship Bottom is a lovely beach destination for the whole family.

The unit itself was nicely decorated and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with cooking supplies which was great! Slightly further distance to walk to the beach including crossing busy roadway but not horrible. The pool and overall building were well maintained. Burger 25, LBI Pancake House and Sandtrap mini golf are all within walking distance, highly recommend visiting each. Great communication with owner. Over-all, would stay again.
