This one of a kind eco-friendly river house has four large private bedrooms, three full baths, a great room, and kitchen with a big farm sized dining table for family meals. The two primary bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and are on the same level as the kitchen, dining room and family room (no stairs required).

A hot tub is perfectly perched just outside overlooking the river and surrounding forest. Also on premise is WiFi, laundry, grills, an outdoor fire pit (please note that the indoor fireplace is decorative only and not for guest use), games / activities, two smart TVs, and so much more. Bed and bath linens included with the rental, no need to bring your own.

Less than a two hour drive from the hustle and bustle of Washington DC, but a getaway that feels like being in another universe surrounded by big trees, water, nature preserves, and historic sites. Visitors have the chance to shop local farmers markets, go riding at the Whitings Neck Equestrian Center directly across the street, explore history in the surrounding area, and have a chance to experience the charming Shepherdstown complete with cool coffee shops, bookstores, an array of restaurants, artisan stores, yoga and reiki studios.
