I was in Sheperdstown for a long weekend to meet up with five other friends. Three of us stayed here and three stayed at another location. The dining room and living room were great gathering places when we were all together. We loved the downtown location and enjoyed having coffee on the patio. The host was easy to contact and replied immediately. I would highly recommend this location!

We loved the Historic location of this place. Shepherdstown is a quaint and lovely town to spend time visiting. We rode bikes on the C & O bike path and visited Harper’s Ferry. Amy answered all of my questions and gave us recommendations for delicious restaurants within walking distance. The Vrbo was clean and neat and had plenty of room for us to enjoy. Thank you so much Amy.

Such a great place that I feel was a little bit under-sold in the description. It was the most fully stocked space we have stayed in, as if we were guests in someone's fully functioning home versus a rental property. It was very clean and very comfy. Communication with owner was thorough, prompt, and friendly. Proximity to town center of Shepherdstown made walking to dinner, campus, book store, etc so enjoyable. It could easily sleep more than 6 people and would be great for a larger family or girls/guys trip. The 3rd bedroom is actually a step-down room attached to the Bedroom 1; had a twin bed and a small toddler bed. Bedroom 2 with the two double beds was very spacious. The 4th "bedroom" is actually just a twin bed in the hallway but would have been great for our younger kid, had we needed the extra space. Will certainly check availability for this space the next time we visit.
